Better late than never, and I have been looking at the rankings for quite a while, just haven't got round to joining lol. And is anyone else finding that your tyres wear really quickly at indy?

I havent tested at any great length yet so not sure about tyres. How many races have you done so far, 3 is it?

I seem to be able to keep doing good laps till im at about 1/3 of my rear tyres left so im not too worried, even though they get there in 12 laps lol, and ive done 3 championship races and the exhibition race.

I am good at driving on worn tyres too, I was only losing a second a lap at TM with tyres at roughly 50% which isnt too bad.
You will get a ranking and profile after Indy so make sure you win, I imagine you will go straight into the top 3 👍

Yeh, but somehow you wear out your front tyres and not your rears which I really dont get! lol, I would prefer to manage understeer than oversteer. And Ill try my best lol.

Yeah if you have voice quality on low it improves racing big time!

Totally agree, I reckon I average 3 mistakes a race but only 1 off. I am rarely the fastest but finish well most races. I think the time trials use offline physics so the tune probably wouldnt work online but saying that your trial mountain tune was awesome and I have no clue why it didnt work for you.

Massive improvement this week, lets keep the same standard going, there was a lot of lag but hardly any intentional or bad driving. Not bad considering between us we managed over 800 laps of the tricky TM

I'll buy my Ferrari tonight. Back to 9-5 Gran Turismo job grinding money B spec. Its kind of cute actually, makes it seem like its its own little world.

I wonder if Indy is 2 stops or 3....have to see.

Ok mate, nice one. I have still only run 10 laps so far so I reckon a 3 stopper at the moment. Indy is really flat on the road section and kills tyres imo.

I did a long run the other day until i couldnt drive no more and did 18/19 laps, was doing 1.10's by the end though and had a couple of spins, i think a 2 stopper will certainly be possible. Gonna be doing a bit more pit strategy when i finish.

You are going a long way on those tyres mate, in that case 2 stops would be no problem for you. I havent tried saving tyres yet but ill do an experiment soon.

I neglected to mention that after 19laps the tires were down to the threads. Need to make 16/17 laps per stint for 2 stopper, rekon it will be profitable though as that pit lane is long as hell

People were saying about the pitalne being long today, I might try and eek out a 2 stopper myself. Next test ill see how long I can make them last, who knows maybe I can 1 stop

Believe it or not young 'uns' but I remember paying 10p to use a game like that in the arcade when I was a little sprout. Its got a better crowd than you get at Spa on GT5!!!
Well done for getting 1st PB, good move, ill be the usual 10000th in the world but as long as I get the dollar Ill be happy.
