Got hit off on turn 2 lap one........Deep Long sand trap....very long. Lost half a minute on the first lap.
One.....of the worst hits I've ever taken in an online race in GT5...that includes public lobbies, dirty lobbies, etc. This series has been a bang fest since I first raced. Its very bad. First reaction its YOUNG children but thats not true because the 14 year old races cleaner than some of the adults. Pathetic....just pathetic.
Drove past the whole field and finished 3rd....nuff said.
No I didnt save the replay, too angry.

Oh dont do that man accidents happen. But i was stuck in the first corner madness 5 races in a row but i finally made it out. Dont leave its fun racing with you.

Race report:
I will no longer call this series the FGTC after today, i will call it the demolition derby...
I was really looking forward to this race, there were 5 or 6 drivers whose pace was pretty equal, it would have been an amazing battle.
But i got rammed off on the first corner, Severe engine damage and as i rejoined the track sandman, mustard, and spurgy were all on the grass or in the gravel. So it looks like the midfield decided to use the top 4 as their brakes......thanks guys
I was coming through the field, keeping pace with the leaders, i catch runfast....he rams me wide
I was fed up of trying to get through the traffic so i pitted on lap 11, hoping to under cut some people. I was stone dead last.
I put in some decent laps, averaging 1.05s, i unlap myself and catch up with electric, i was having a fun clean battle with him. Up untill pigboy caught up and rammed me wide. This gets me really angry so i overtake him CLEANLY and i try going the long way round electric but my anger got the better of me and i put it in the gravel.
I nearly quit at this point.
But i carried on, i slowly climb up the field, i pitted put some mediums on, which i just couldnt get to work.
Then i pitted for the final and 3rd time on lap 37 for some softs. I was in 8th at this point, i knew 5th was possible.
I catch up with runfast and sakery, they were 2 abreast on the straight, and i have a massive tow. I put it on the inside with 2 wheels on the grass. But even so sakery decides to turn into me, i didnt have a clue what he was doing.
This pushes him wide and he takes out runfast, I will apologize to runfast, but in my opinion i did nothing wrong, i was keeping a steady constant line.
I then catch up to ellis, we were having a nice battle, and i slowly pulled away.
It was the start of the last lap and the leaders had finished, Mustards car caught me out and i went wide onto the grass, ellis was right up my trumpet.
I knew i had fresher tyres and i pulled out a little gap, we exited the last corner and ellis got a huge tow, its safe to say i was ****ting my pants at this point. We ended up finishing 0.07 of a second apart i think
A very good end which was marred by the very poor driving throughout.
I had the pace for a win, yet other people decided this was not to be, lo and behold i finish 5th.

I dont even think i saw you once this race besides corner 1.
Short and simple Race Report:
Fun/painful race, the first 25 laps sucked terribly and then my anger fueled me to start flying. Then at lap 40-45ish i was chasing down electric,runfast,and smart. Then i finally got by and held the lead. Was so happy.

I hit a high 1:05.9 I think. I was right behind you & you were the first one I caught. Thanx for not racing me hard. It took me 5 laps I think to catch 12th place? Dont remember. It was by far the biggest handicap I've ever had. It was a really long race....like 240 km & so there was time but the win was out of the question loosing 23 seconds....These races are won & lost by 10-15 secs. Sometimes its closer. I knew the win was over but I figured top 3 was still possible and I got spurgey by a minute.... he he

First of all I would like to apologise if I caught anyone, it seems there was a huge amount of contact and the replay will be an interesting watch. Big penalties will be handed out. Due to the ill feeling i will keep my report short and sweet.
I felt like I got hit from behind at the first corner and I caught one of the leading cars, I managed to avoid smithaz and tucked in behind him, I used his draft to improve my laptimes only attempting the overtake on the main straight. He eventually lost me around lap 11 after I screwed up on the tight s. I lapped as well as I could losing small amounts of time per lap to the front 3. I pitted lap 17 and added 25 litres, I found myself behind mustard I think or spurgey so just followed on. All the backmarkers mover for me and it seemed very clean from my point of view. I pitted agian at 34. On the last lap I noticed spurgey behind me and promptly crapped myself and spun the car. As he passed I noticed with joy that he had in fact unlapped himself so i was sweet for 2nd.
Guys, if there is anything I can do to make you feel better suggest things to me. Harsher penalties? Talk to me.
Sandman, take a break man, dont leave us, there isnt going to be a season 3

Well here is my report:
10 After Qualy not good not Bad.
Me Starting good braked early and took the inside line. Passed all others almost => got to 4th position after the first 3 Turns.
Directly behind PB. He struggled a bit and Flood took this opportunity too pass us two.
Sandman joined us after some Laps.
[I watched the Replay and the Situation 3 times and I´m not smarter. T1 Lap 4 did I ram you or did you touch the inner Tire-Barrier ?? I had no Damage and you had red engie etc.. please rewatch it Brett]
Lap 6 Flood took me out at T1 => me to grass => SmartHeart and PB closed the Gap.
Me did a pretty sweet drift due to dirty Tires and SmartHeart took me out at the following Corner
=> from 6th to 12th -_-
Pitted at Lap 18 and put RM´s again on *d´oh*
Did ok with them hitting low 1:08s till Lap 24. After that I got Lapped be Spurgy and went on his Train => 3 1:07s
I was 5th until I pitted at Lap 37/38. Came out directly behind Ellis and Runfast.
Ellis went off => me at 6th again.
I rammed RunFast realy unluckily [penalize me Hard for that Steward X] at T1 Lap 41 (he red engine me nothing).
I waited for his total recovery.
At the End of that Lap at the banked Curve: Runfast at outside me next to him all of a sudden Pagey went near me and knocked me in Runfast.
And you tell me you couldn´t have waited 200m longer to pass us clean ??
RF spun out I waited and Pagey went off -_-.
PB gained positions through that.
Fought with him till end me doing 1:07´s and one 1:06.924.
7th at the end is ok for me.

I have suggested this and agree with this idea but it would need more refinging to it.Anyhoo back to business.
Race report:
Qualified rather well just behind Bret. I thought hmmm if Brets so far back then maybe i won't do so well this race. So the race began and unlike what I have heard other people doing i eased off in the corner staying to the right of the track to stay away from all of the mess, which paid off because i ended up fourth or fifth if i remember correctly behind young flood. For the next couple of laps after a small incident i made my way from somthing like 10th to 6th or 5th. Not too shabby i thought. The race carried on incident-less, i was trying to be as consistent as i could on this race and in the long run it did pay off. When front runners were coming from the back i.e mustard i just let him past instead of slowing his race down and causing a polava. Pitted in at a similar time to sakery and ended up just in front of him until i made a mistake and he got away but i kept my cool. I ended up, i think after my second pit stop with smart heart and he caused a bit of an accident when he turned into the first corner. I went to fast so i braked harder to make sure i did not hit him, which i did not. And then he caught the ruddy tyres causing me to crash. which i was rather peeved at. But again, kept my cool. Carried on the race. laeapfrogging people in the pits after my third stop. Until about 5 laps before the race i noticed i was not alone and pagey had snuck up on the. I knew he was going to pass because my tyres were worse off so i did not go on the massivly defensive and let him pass easily. So i settled for sixth. but on the last lap he had a slip on the first corner and i saw a chance. So i stuck behind him until the last straight and went for the tow. And my god my chest was thumping. Came up to it and I was less than a tenth behind him. Gutted
but despite what people are saying i really enjoyed this race and did not see too many of these incidents what people are talking about. I kept my race clean and enjoyed it more because of it. Congrats to smithaz and a great win and thanks to sakery, pagey at the end and pigboy for a couple of good battles
