The FGT's are still easy on tires but everything else if all messed up.

Just drove an LMP car around the Nurburg 24 hr......softs worn after 1 lap. Mediums worn after 1.5 laps.

Hey guys, was just sorting out my gearing for my fgt (accidently reset the one on my purple/white fgt to default) and i realised that i couldnt use the same gears as on my green/yellow or my orange fgts, the range of gears was a lot higher, does anyone know why? If youre confused, on my green fgt 1st gear was 6.362 but on my purple one 1st gear only goes down to 6.533 and i dont understand why.

I think I'll end up doing this race. Some people are doing a group ride today but there's snow on the road & its supposed to drop off to -7 C (19 F). My younger crazier days are behind me.

Tony- Stop fishing for info. you know excactly what you are doing after 25 hours of practice!!!!!!

I am not expecting a full grid because its new years day etc. I will be there of course but not with high hopes as I have completely failed to practice for this one

I think 3 or??

I dunno....if you go on mediums the whole way you might be able to make it on 2 stops....with a bit of pacing. Berty maybe be trying for that. 4 stops on softs is the easiest route. Dont know which is fastest.

We still need 2 compounds so it will be tricky.

I reckon anything between 2-4 stops is reasonable. I have the usual 2 strategies depending on where I am after the first few laps and where I qualify.

Had to restore ps3 earlier in the week and only just realised I needed to update GT5 back to 2.02 or w.e. So I'm doing it now, im on 10/12 updates and 61% done so should get on just in time hopefully, I still have my saves and stuff and copied it over, so I'll have my FGT hopefully, its gonna be a mad rush, i wont have time to reset router but ill clear cache. but put me at the back of qualifying, the race norm starts at 7:15 to 7:20 anyway so thats an hour away, i should be coolo. wish me luck
