The pack is quite good. However, a lot of the tracks really, REALLY don't do a good job of keeping the AI in check, leading to aggressive Drivatar AI turning even more aggressive and not knowing what the hell to do. Example, in one of the early races, I had a 250 LM miss the jump, and basically park itself in front of the ramp. Now realize I'm in a NSX-R going 175, and I had to make a very close shave.

I've only been able to do one race so far, but it was a fun race. I can't help but feel like something is missing without power-ups though.

My main gripe right now is that is seems you can't change a race's class once completed. Although I do like being able to choose the Blueprint cover car.

I can't wait until this weekend so I can get some actual time with it.

Just finished the Goliath-version of Hot Wheels hours ago and been playing some online racing. I don't really have much to say about it, but I overall enjoyed this expension a lot. Can't wait to play some more to collect the remaining achievements I have left to complete tomorrow, alongwith the races before doing any championships (which I usually ignore, lol).

While I was recording, I watched a Drivatar fall off one of the Hyperloops. Fantastic AI there, Turn 10

I love this expansion pack.
I fell off one earlier, and they keep resetting me at the beginning of the loop. I couldn't get up to speed and couldn't rewind back any, so I kept falling off. :)

Oh now that you mentioned it, I despise that so much haha, especially online when racing with other people who pushes you off regardless if it wasn't on purpose. :banghead:  :P

I also found out that racing the track toys aids you to conquering those tight corners on the Hot Wheels tracks. Although they're not fast like other machines, such as the Hypercars, at least they have good traction. 👍

So the Valiant Charger uses a big bad V8 sample for its sound, because it's a muscle car, right? Of course!*

*Nevermind that part where its claim to fame is the straight six under the hood.

Interesting that somewhere between the leak and now, the '32 Ford Deluxe Coupe changed from a 3-window to a 5-window.
Why does it matter? Well, the 5-window wasn't available in Deluxe trim, only Standard.

Does anyone else find it painfully ironic that we finally have a track with loops and twists but no Gumpert Apollo?

How long ha sit taken for people to be given the Barnfind rumour? I'm up to 60 medals and haven't been given any rumour yet.

Edit: Just as I posted this I was given the rumour Haha!

There's a surprising amount of life in this expansion, because usually Forza is Mr Perfect (and if there is anything digital recording has taught us, it's that perfect isn't always interesting). I've seen the AI fall off loops; lose control landing jumps; even found one stuck in the floor. It's very unrefined for Forza, but this makes the game far more interesting to me. Now I'm not saying Forza should start making unfinished games, no. I'm not saying that should change how they do things at all, I'm just saying that in this scenario, the lack of refinement adds more than it loses.

The best way to play this is casually, there is no need to care about lap times, or precision driving. It's about having fun and taking an axe to some crazy tracks. If you find farts funny, you should probably like the expansion. If that is a bad thing to you, then you'll need a slap to the cheek... Wait, no! Not that one! :P

Don't worry, I even disappoint myself.

So PG took an iconic Australian I6 car and gave it a V8 sound?

Ffs PG. Though that mistake and lackof attention is somewhat par for T10 and PG.

I am scratching my head as to why. I did not hear 6 cylinders when I first drove it & thought was I imagining things. I then opened the bonnet & made sure a straight 6 was in it. I hope it gets a proper 6 cylinder sound.

Other than that the new car pack is great.

I'm not sure what's going on with mine. It is completely locked. Do I need to be further along in the normal game before it unlocked the HW pack?

Another point on the Valiant Charger--take it into Forzavista and open the trunk--the fuel tank fills the entire space. So not only did T10 include a rare E49, it's also a "big tank" model, with a fuel filler on each side of the car and a 36-gallon capacity. Only 21 cars were so equipped.
A lot of people missed this post, so I'm quoting it again.

I imagine there'll be quite a few HW-related cars that will be available through Forzathon once all the Porsche's are released.
