On a lighter note, let's talk format...
I was hoping they'd give us free choice of car, but if they were going to do a draft, group 3 was the best group for it. I don't think any of the ten drivers in my block ended up with a bad car per se, though obviously the Jaguar and FGT had a slight advantage. Didn't stop Cody Nikola Latkovski from bossing it.
Shame about the lack of qualifying, but with the time constraints I understand why they chose to forego it in favour of long races. But they really should've told everyone that their rank would be vital during the final season instead of withholding important information regarding the championships.
They made the Mediums and Softs last longer than they do in the current retail build, which added a couple more layers to an already interesting strategic race. I like this three compound system, makes the races more exciting compared to 'save fuel, overtake in pit-lane'.
N300 BoP was adjusted to be fairer, but there were clearly still issues, like the MR2 being pretty rubbish and the R32 winning both races. Maybe they should just stick to group 3 if they insist on car drafts.
Speaking of which, tomorrow's championship was also preceded by a car draft. So yeah, put your money on Akagi/Ryota Kokubun to win it.
Ayaya!
