Uruguay is looking like a serious contender but I really like Mexico’s side too: they play great football and could have easily equalized or win the match with Uruguay - just lacked a bit of luck and confidence to score. But next they'll meet Argentina!

Fair victory by Uruguay, all the South American teams are performing very well and are likely to go through this phase. This just shows how tough our eliminatory competition was, Argentina finished in fourth place, so the results for our South American brothers were expected. Well done. 👍

Regarding the French team, it's a complete disappointment, everyone always knew about Domenech incompetence but I was convinced of the potential and union of the group, so France would advance regardless of having such clown disguised as a coach. Not to have a go at the French people around but by looking at this scenario, seems like Ireland really deserved to be in Africa, and that's sad. I hope the French Federation fix all this mess to the next European cup.

All will change in fews days in FFF. And you know if France was in 2006 WC final it was not by the way of Domenech, it was groupe rules after the 2 first matchs competition in WC 2006.

Not certain where you're at, but if in NA somewhere you should have access to ESPN 3's online coverage (only games they don't stream are those that are on ABC exclusively):

They also have replays of every match but I'm not certain how soon after match completion they are available.

I know the Korea game is going to be up on ESPN3 soon, but I'm just looking for highlights. It's only a matter of time before footytube has them.

@Omnis - now that I think about a bit more I think something was lost in translation, and we're both using the same language humorously enough. That link I provided is for ESPN3's streaming online coverage, not necessarily their cable TV coverage. The online streaming quality is none too shabby either.

Well 4 interesting matches to follow each in it's own way!
Uruguay and Mexico qualified to next phase deservedly,they were the best Teams.Bafana-Bafana are a nice Team but very naife and lacking some more skilled player's.About France the next images pretty much sums it all up arrogance and bad loosing resulted in a disgraceful exhibition:



S.K also qualified after a very hard game against Nigeria,and Greece showed lack of ambition and competence against the mighty Argentina which won without great effort,next victim-Mexico
And I really don't see Uruguay loosing for S.K
