Surely after his performance at Spa Force India would have offered him a long term drive and most likely would have bumped Sutil off if they had promised a seat for Liuzzi.

I just hope that who ever replaces Fisi in the Force India will get the most out of it, I would hate for the team to drop back down the field again.

No, Giancarlo will be simply reserve driver next year. Liuzzi is expected to take over at FI. It was rumoued he was considering retirement, and his contract with Force India ended this year. So he most definitely wants this. Who wouldn't want to be paid to drive Ferrari's as an ending to your career? Especially as an Italian who had dreamed of such a thing.

I'm not saying he shouldn't do it, it's only a little bit ironic that such a great driver finally drives for Ferrari at the end of his career. I hope he ends his career with a good blast, it's definitly a driver I'm going to miss.

Agreed, I'll miss him too, he's a good driver and he gets too much stick for his bad Renault years.

Fisi is getting old now, I'm sure he decided to help Force India on their feet for a few seasons before retiring, it seems to have always been the plan.
Its not really a case of Force India not wanting to resign him, more he doesn't want to race anymore. At least thats what I'm guessing.

Sutil is a promising young talent still, if Force India can keep him they would be wise to do so. The coming season looks to be a difficult one to keep a consistent team together - it seems drivers may be going all over the place.

On Sutil, I'm suprised to see him not mentioned more times in the silly seasons. Obviously the guy isn't a newbie anymore, and never has been one of the new disasters as some other drivers lately (Ide, Piquet, Speed?). I'm hoping for a bright future for Sutil, the guy at least shows what he's worth in every race, and he's a real wet weather warrior!

No problem with being a reserve, you get paid just for showing up, like basketball:lol:
