If I'm not mistaken I think miata13b signed up as a tuner for nail-27. I think we have 13 tuners now. Sorry if I'm wrong on this.

Nail wanted me as a tuner. I said if it was alright for me to drive and tune I would tune for him. If not then I am just driving.

I think it would be better just have me deive, but I am up for a challenge :-)

I know @flip55 uses a ds3. I will take him as a tuner as long as he is still committed to the competition.

We have been racing together for quite a bit of time. Will be interesting on our two different approaches to tuning. It will be very educational for both of us.

Besides the atmosphere and racing against you guys, I think that will be a huge benefit to my tuning ability...or lack of!

Anybody fancy running some practice laps online tonight? Looking to break the Ford and VW into the 1:33's at Brands Hatch GP, took them both for a quick spin last night and was into the low 1:34's after a couple of warm up laps.

I'm happy with that. For the first time in this Gran Turismo I will be driving a Civic. Can't wait.

I do not believe it will be open that late, I will probably have a few more coming up that I will announce though.

I do not believe that the list in post 3 is in any relation to the list in post 2 yet, if you want to prepare a car, I would suggest all of them just incase. When @CyKosis1973 gets back on to update us on things, he can correct me if I am wrong though.

All joking aside, I'll be able to mess with some cars in the next few days and send you the specs for a base to get started (probably by Monday). Glad to have you as a teammate 👍

Either way, I have a Civic and a BMW ready The BMW is good for easy low 1:34s at Brands Hatch GP without body rigidity ( offline ) - 1st lap test, the real life qualifying record there is 1:31.214, held by Jason Plato on MG6 in 2013. I think without flat floor, the BMW could at least get close, the BMW 125i M Sport did 1:31.709 in 2013.

A better run with more laps / better driver on the BMW will have potential for mid 1:33s or even 1:32s maybe in the hands of Lewis Hamilton

Sounds like a plan. I'll be on Saturday afternoon (my time) and will post here when I get on for all/others who are interested in some more track time and some friendly paint swapping!

Will the car selection be decided by each team or by the host ? I'm thinking of using the BMW if @DaBomm4 more comfortable with FR car. I'm quite like the result of 1st test session, using my replica build as a base ( unreleased finished replica ), the car drives well without too demanding to the driver. It has real life based suspension + alignment, weight distribution and transmission ratios, and drives like BTCC car with more/massive grip limit ( lateral G's )
