Really long first and second gears will help keep the car under control.It has been a bit tough. So much torque that either my wheels spin like crazy or they get good grip but send me spinning. I have no idea what to do with the transmission but I think that setting it right is key to getting a good tune. I'm working on it though. Never done a FR rally car, only 4WD and FF, so it's been fun. Thanks for the Corvette link, I'll have to check that out and see if the tune holds up in GT6 or if it set me in the right direction. That reminds me too that you can put dirt tires on one of the race mod Corvette LM cars. Forgot which year, it was the less powerful of the 2 I remember. Now that would an truly absurd rally tune!
Example would be to set a mid point final gear and a mid point top speed and set first and second to the longest values, last two gears to shortest, and balance the middle gears as best you can
