Maybe start this week? I have been testing for over-dogs and under dogs with pretty basic tunes. The Ferrari 599 is just a frustrating car. It's beautiful but does not meet the quality of drive of the other Ferrari in the game. Probably going to substitute the California. The California is a great handling car but might lack a little power. So if the 365 GTB4 '71 is a bit of an over-dog, then they might equal out?

Still thinking a bit about the tracks.

Agree with the Ferrari thinking. Seems like most pairs have a shining star, and a not so shiney partner. The rules package on power limiter, areo, etc. and track choice will probably be huge in the performance class. Time line.....ready when you are. Its your sand box. ;)

Now why would you assume that? :) It did cross my mind but i just like the technicality of the first turn down the hill. thats all.
I have no idea :dopey:
It's certainly one helluva corner and, of the top of my head, is only matched by the blind left hander over the crest named Skyline at Bathurst. It's almost a mirror effect.

I have a feeling I would need to make some amendments to my previous Mini for it to be as hot hatch as it should be. The tyre down grade will require some rebalancing and it also has a few horses less which would need a new speedy transmission. I will have to see how the old girl holds up in some testing before I base my track preference on it.

I love paddock hill bend, one of my favourite corners for hot lapping but a real pain under race conditions
It's a great corner to attack but watch out for when the suspension fully loads at the bottom of the hill. If you've got any sort of opposite lock happening, you better be ready or you'll get spat over the sandtrap & in the wall in a flash.
To think the F1 drivers of the 70's & earlier used to race into there at warp speed when the corner was a lot closer to the wall...

I've always found oversteer preferential to understeer round there, dealing with understeer kills your speed unless you get the entry perfect whereas an oversteering car will allow you to hold more speed and adjust your line to get a better exit. I've tried drifting it and its definitely possible but generally more by luck rather than judgement

The best drivers steer with their feet too :D

Is there running or upcoming FITT events what are open for entry?
OP was bit out dated..
The current event finished yesterday, I believe a new one is being constructed as we speak.
Updates on progress and ideas for contests are usually posted here and the events will be posted in the Tuning forum (keep an eye out for threads with FITT or Shoot out in the title)

Entry is available to everyone as both tuners and test drivers 👍

(OP author has been AWOL for a long time so updating is impossible)

@Motor City Hami, you missed the quick seasonal challenge featuring Circuito de Madrid, but the list isn't as long as I thought it would be.

And, both Prius cannot achieve the PP levels.
I understand your decision, but I was kind of looking forward to the challenge of the Prius'.

Still looking like a great challenge to battle in though. Also, good, interesting choice of tracks to choose from, was a hard decision. :)

I wouldn't call it out. Just out for now. Still comparing cars a bit.

Fast cars on mt panorama are great, one of my favorite tracks, but I hated FF there, I think it was in a seasonal last year. But the 600pp seasonal there was awesome.
