It's a fun combo, but the F3 will need a grip reduction wetness or harder tires. in 15 minutes with downforce set to Min I had a stable tune that was fast enough to beat cars going 80-100 km/h faster on the straights.


Very true. I'll look at some other BMW's that were not in the last challenge to bat around. Street cars only not doing touring cars for this one. Maybe a 335 or a M5

I was working on the 335 a while back as a touring car, weird car to work with and it looks like it has piano wheels Don't forget the Z8, that ones quite fun 👍

Second time a Z was mentioned... maybe....
The smaller the wheel radius the faster the car accelerates. They act as additional gear in terms of acceleration, braking and top speed.

ok for my one car challenge. I've decied not to go with BMW's but a 600+PP street car we never go that high in FITT challenges and I think it will be a good change of pace see what we can do with power.

They can be or they can be a pain in the 🤬
After looking over the dealerships it's going to be a Euro car so you can pick and choose parts. JDM and ADM cars just don't go that high with out maxing them out.

It sounds like you have a car in mind already then. Might as well put the event idea forward and see if it has legs

Trying to deiced between a TVR, Pagani, Lambo or Aston.
Power with some grace, Extereame power with grace, Power with some grace or Power with whats grace?
Taking suggestions from those companies.

Other Parts of the challenge.

RH Tires due to PP level.
Track either Deep Forest or Cape Ring periphery.

it's a one car so wont matter if the car is 1.7 million or not. Chassis reinforcement is not gong to be to allowed for the challenge. Unless the majority of the testers wont mind having to possibly buy two of the cars.

Reventon and Huayra hardly seem to get much love from PD. They could be interesting at 600PP with RH?

Pagani actually. All the Merc's that can hit my target PP are the SLS AMG's and I don't like them they are dogs at 250+

Pagani Huayra would be a great choice for power, looks and fun value. Have you tested any of these cars at DF or Cape Ring Periphery?

Hadn't planned blind for this one.
I could do blind if the tuners would prefer that.
My long project would be blind to prevent bias over 4-6 tracks.

Testing 20 versions of one car 4-6 times? That's like 40 - 50hrs of testing....

Spread over 2-4 months depending on track length for that test.
One original track.
One world track
One city track
One track voted on by the tester group.
The tuning is the "easy" part tuners are allowed one setting change and adjust the Final drive per track so the tune has to very versatile.
