We have to consider those unlucky souls @Pete05 who have no internet and no access to track creator/downloading of tracks though, so it would have to be a in game track at all times. It is unfortunate but hey ho..
Good point.

Thanks Shaun for thinking of me & others in my situation :) 👍
Not only am I not online, I don't have a PC or a tablet :indiff: I could live with how it's launched if it was a simple game update. I just have to visit my brother & bribe him with a few  For it to require a tablet, app & online all together has left me pretty  to be honest.
Well if you can get a inexepnive andriod device the apk file is out int he wild and will work even on phones. you can make a ton of tracks and then just upload them when you get interwebs. But I understand tthe creator is good but has it limits, like requiring inernet at all times to work correclty.

I am trying to avoid tracks that have been used recently. Give us tuners a bit of variety in where we tune/test.

Based on the quick conversation we have had, R246 and Madrid seem like the top track choices available for this particular car. What would you guys like to race on? Japanese on home ground or running riot around madrid?

Has anyone done the Red Bull tracks yet? And did we just get a new Death Valley track?

Noone has touched a Red Bull Track for FITT, hence my initial thought but I fear that @DolHaus is right about the 500PP car being a little slow for that particular track. We do have Death Valley tracks but I know a tuner here who doesn't have the ability to use that track so that might leave him out of this event should he be interested in taking part. :)

I thought some one was putting together a V8/4-door/RWD event at Tokyo.
I recall that mentioned too. We have a couple of options/events being mentioned over the last couple of weeks. I am cool with whatever event is chosen and I am happy to host one if mine is the preferred choice.

I'm sort of in the same boat with the course maker, I can't get stable internet connection on my PS3, no tablet, junk phone and my PC won't run the emulator so I can't run the software, there are get arounds for the problems but its inconvenient at best
I feel for you. I've been there it's no fun.
@Pete05 @fordracer if you can get even a crap connection you can DL tracks they are small. 1-2 megs. Mightt take a whle butt you could at least DL them.

All of my tech is too outdated and/or compromised to be useful but not quite broken enough to warrant replacing. My computer is over 10yrs old and wasn't exactly high spec when I bought it, its dying but I can't afford to replace it, my internet is great everywhere except where my tv/ps3 lives, my phone doesn't do internet but I only use it for calls/texts anyway so can't justify an upgrade. God I hate being poor :banghead:

Wouldn't take too long to move the PS3 for a better internet for the few moments the download takes. It's not very big really. It'd be worth it cause FOUR NEW TRACKS!
Yeah I move it downstairs to do the updates, I just can't get access to user created tracks that reliably. As I said, its not a massive issue, just an inconvenience as I have to hijack someone elses TV randomly for however long

With a hardwired 30 meg connection the tracks are instant. so the size is less then 2mb per track even a maxed out track at 10 km is a small DL.

I will use the feature without doubt, its an interesting asset and I've already got a few tracks saved already waiting for download, just need to arrange access. 👍
Shame about the lack of terrain manipulation but I'm sure people will figure out ways to use what's available

yeah the lack of customizbilty on tthe inputs other then Eifil Flat, means lots and lots of tturn accurrate tracks will be flat or near flat.
I did make a blast of a terreran track I called it Dragon Training Blind turns. About every three turn is blind and half of them are elevation changes. would quite fun to rally.

I'll add it to the list 👍

I also made a turn accurate replica of Pikes Peak toll way the last 10 km of it. well 800 m short of the summit. -_-
Compaired the GT 2/3 Pikes peak this is a entirely different animal, You can hit 300 km/h in some spots with the right car.

I don't remember the course well enough but it always struck me that its the location and the incline that makes it special, I'll give it a look though, might have some fun touge sections

Yeah it does some of the turns are pretty wicked. there is one spot about 7km in that you hit a 120 degree urn at the end of the 800m straight.

To do a Monty Python on you...
Luxury! I have to disconnect PS3, TV, load it all in the car, drive to my Brother's, stop on the way for bribery water, connect it all up & tolerate his pain in the a.. girlfriend, keep my 3 year old Niece away from all the cords & only then can I start the update.

 All said with a Yorkshire accent of course.

Shall we put a poll up for what event we want to do next? Let the people decide
