The deadline for entry has come and gone, however, we have allowed a few days for others to join in. We have also extended the draw for car allocation as well, in the event that others may jump in late. We have had two tuners join the field of 16 after tuner number and car assignment were handed out. This means that everyone will know who tuner 17 and 18 are, and I have therefore done another draw for tuner number. You will all receive a PM from myself with your new number, you KEEP the same car as you were originally assigned unless told you have been told otherwise. There may have been an issue with the 135i not being able to keep pace with the M cars, those tuners have been given the option to change, taking the cars assigned originally for tuners 18, 19, and 20. They were done in order of the old tuner numbers. Lowest received 18, highest received 20. A final tuner was then added to the field AFTERWARD, and received the final car or the one for tuner #21. This was all done in the interest of fairness and an attempt at keeping the field as close as possible.

Thank you for your patience and understanding.

Well here is too hoping the guys that got the 135i can get the tunes done in time if they took the new car.

I think I've located the car @brian wolf was talking about...Hilariously faster. After only a few laps I did a 2:05.655 with praiano's tune on it and some sloppy driving (My current tune made it about as fast, just very hard to control). Proper lap+transmission settings (I didn't bother with this), this is a mid/high 4's car. I tripled checked everything to make sure some aid wasn't on or something...

Edit: Another car I suspected is also running in the mid/high 5's(A tad slower though)...I had suspicions about two cars specifically, and its these two.

Yes he did Shaun.

Since we're talking lap times, 2:08.015 on lap four on the initial tune. Not bad I guess.
2.08 is good, if you can get that lap consistently, your doing something right with the tune.

What he said. :)

Another year older, not another year wiser. This is the day my kids to get to jump out say surprise! and just not cause :)
I wish you a happy birthday 👍 ... and may your kids help you remember it forever :scared:, got sugar if you need to fuel them up a bit :mischievous:.

@shaunm80 & @Bowtie-muscle , 👍👍👍 , nice turnout for this event, can't wait to see who's going to come up on top.

You don't count :P you're fast no matter what.
I only wish I had your speed on a good day.. :)
Well it depends on the car, that would be a stupidly fast lap in one of the cars but in one or two of the others it would be fairly average :P

A fair few corners on this track can be taken a lot faster than you might think, its just a case of pushing the car until you end up in the kitty litter and then backing it off a touch, instead of backing it off to avoid hitting the curbs learn how to position the car so when you hit them at full speed it doesn't spin. Its not your car and you don't have to pay for the scratches or recovery so drive it like you stole it

Edit: Oversteer - if it starts slipping then lifting is the worst thing you can do as it will suddenly transfer weight onto the front wheels and you will pirouette around them, keep your foot in it and make gentle corrections. The key is to avoid doing anything sudden because you'll upset the balance, you're not in trouble until you can see where you're supposed to be going out of the back window
