For a trial Gamepass is still the cheapest way. After that, but only 4 days left, Microsoft store iceland.
The first day I was out actually flying after I finished up the training was spent doing exactly this. It was definitely a great time.I don't think it can be overstated just how special a resource this sim is. The comfort of finding places you know is unbeatable.
You don't need to, they are friendly and let anybody shop without any hassles like other countries. I don't know sure but could be possible to be even cheaper in other countries but with the hassles of having a hotel address etc..Travelling all the way to Iceland just to save a few £/$/€ seems a bit of a hassle to me 😉
Does this have an activation exe? I read somewhere it did, how does that work then? The new Hawk. Oh my lordy, it’s a special plane to me as I see it regularly through the Mach Loop and at RAF Valley so to have it in the sim is unreal…the plane nerds amongst us may point out that it’s actually a T1 and not the T2 operated by IV squadron out of Valley.😜
The attention to detail is off the charts, it looks absolutely stunning with a huge assortment of liveries and it flies like an absolute dream…worth every single penny and then some !!View attachment 1088816View attachment 1088817View attachment 1088818View attachment 1088819View attachment 1088820View attachment 1088821
I have absolutely no idea, I just buy the planes then extract them to my community folderDoes this have an activation exe? I read somewhere it did, how does that work then?
An A320 with a Ryanair livery, this is so damn cursed
Well, PC players have no ceiling on hardware capabilities, and you can adjust sliders if performance becomes a problem. However, on Xbox there are no performance sliders and the hardware is static, so the console version is probably a bigger challenge for them to get right whenever a major update rolls out.no such issues on PC, it’s stable as it’s ever been since SU6 and looking stunning too
IGN once made a performance analysis comparing FS on Series X and Series S. I seem to remember they mentioned how the Series S version of the game was running smoother around complex sceneries because it is rendering fewer details and objects at once. The Series X version renders more details and objects at once, which somehow has a noticeable impact on performance. Ideally this is something Asobo should have sorted by now, but they seem preoccupied with the PC version. Nearly everything they communicate is centered around the PC version. Perhaps understanable in a way but sometimes it feels like the console version has become more of an afterthought.Strange that there’s issues with series x, I’ve had no such problems on series s
Thank you for highlighting this, something i have been searching for.I understand the approach to this game varies a lot with each player, but for the kind of person who flies just for looking at gorgeous sceneries and getting to know new places, I'd recommend checking this website: https://flightspots.co/
(tip: if you sign up, you can then order the locations by "most popular")
I started using it yesterday and, based on it, was able to discover this nice desert, in Namibia:
Even if it's a place that you already know that exists, it's nice to be reminded to go there and check it out.
I'm also thinking of uploading a few locations that I've ran into in the past.
For me, this is the best £60 i've ever spent on a game 9i've never spent 60 quid on a game to be fair before)I really do wish MS had thought of putting out some kind of demo for FS2020 like they did with FSX. The simulator has a lot of appeal but for me the most important part is the simulation of flight itself. I can read review after review, but it's just not enough. Historically DCS and XPlane have been better in this area so I find myself waiting on them, in particular X-Plane 12 for civil flying now that it has been announced. Still, just having the world map menu for airports makes exploring the globe so much easier and fun. If X12 doesn't have something comparable I might just have to get MSFS anyway.
