I had a crap qually then lap 1 got taken out by jack (not intensional but it completely stuffed my race) then baulked by someone later on in the lap causing me to spin so ended up being 15-20 seconds behind after 2 laps.

I did my best to fight back through and pitted early having driven every lap 35.0 or under then came out infront of toyot but my tyres it seems started feeling the pain on the last 3 laps... so made a slight error and then got pinned on the wall by toyot unfortunatly for me.

Then last lap yzmike decides he doesnt like being lapped blocks and hits toyot atleast 4 times then I draw alongside on the down hill section expecting him to back off. I try to brake a tad later to catch toyot as due to the contact between him and yzmike id closed up but no yzmike dives at toyot, hitting toyot into the barriers and me to run into the back of yzmike causing engine and full front damage.

This can not go un punished yzmike should be banned for doing this constantly to leaders or lappers when they are trying to lap him.

So yeah crap qually, crap race, crap finish but i had the pace for 5th (4th when poor Wii DCed)

Also Aderrrm said something about 666 pitting lap25 which I think Aderrrm said wasnt allowed....

Really enjoying what GT5 did with their servers during the most recent maintenance.

Can't rejoin. Its telling me network incompatability.

I restarted the ps3. reset the router. reset the modem. logged in and out of another account. Internet works perfect in the rest of the house.

Yep I agree that was wrong moves by mike weren't it I thought you would overtake me because of what he did so I had to kinda push quite hard he most definately deserves a penalty for that

Banning right now isn't going to do anything anyway since his season is over from not having enough points to continue.

However, given multiple reports from people that all match, I am handing down the following penalties for Division 1:

666 Z06 - +20 seconds for pitting on the last lap.
yzfmike - Disqualification for blocking leaders while being lapped.

Yeah, clearly I'm not good enough this season to even have a chance at the wildcard race. Was able to pass Grayfox on the start, but couldn't hold him off. He pulled well away from me, so pretty much my only chance to make it is if he disconnects, and I don't want to get in that way, so I quit.

After what happened today in PURE, I had already lost most of my motivation to race today, so meh.

Mule, my motivation is also at an all time low but for some reason I continue in the hope ill hook up with the right people in a race and find that magical epicly close clean battle like at R1 Nurb... or its just plain stuburnness for not giving up. Ill let you guys decide

Well I have been in the room now for the last 10 minutes or so. Not sure what's up today.

Spyhunter has the fastest lap so far at a 1'32.036. Nepalii has a 31 second lead, but he hasn't pitted and Spy and Green have. Wardez is 5 seconds behind Spy. I would say Spy, Green, and Nepalii are probably all neck and neck.

Here's the results of the D1 race. And my mea culpa .

My tires felt fine so I did not pit until lap 25. After the race I rechecked the rules which stipulate a "mid-race pit stop." Oops, my bad .

Its up to Turbo. Its his world, I just race in it.

Speaking of which, its been great, I've had fun, especially since its my first series. Also my first time racing humans .

I do apologize to toyota since I had no idea where u were behind me. I thought sliding to the right would be good idea due to the course layout. As soon as i saw toyota I went to the right and followed him thru to the chicane, and not attempting to hit you in the bumper. I had no idea paulmac was behind me till i got punted to the the wall. I did not have any other issues with other people passing me during this race. I have no 5.1 theater or anything and the sounds are lousy for hearing cars come from behind me. I think paulmac should get a penalty since he punted me into the wall. The WHOLE field passed me with no issue during the 24 laps. I ended up backwards but tried to stay out of the way as much as possible. I would like RT to review the last lap for clarification.

I do but when I have a guy behind me I dont see where he is. My map is setup to full course, not zoomed in. It might help in future races adjusting the view. I didnt use the mirror since I had the chicane coming up. I thought going to the left would be ok, but it wasnt.

Yeah.. if you aren't in the cockpit with a mirror and you're fully zoomed out.. it is really tough to know where people are.

I would suggest if you don't want to use cockpit view to race, that at the very least zoom your map so you can see where people are.

Edit - Nepalii wins.. Spy in second. Green in fourth .178 behind Spy. Wardez 4, TnJF 5, Carracer 6, Gray 7, Kos 8. Unofficial of course.

Yeah.. if you aren't in the cockpit with a mirror and you're fully zoomed out.. it is really tough to know where people are.

I would suggest if you don't want to use cockpit view to race, that at the very least zoom your map so you can see where people are.

After all this, I think it would be very wise idea to change the course view.

As I already said, the chicane was coming up, and I didnt use it. Since I didnt see him, I could only hear him, I thought he would go to the right since the racing lane would be going right for the turn ahead and I would of pulled over to the corner area. If I had braked when I saw toyota, you would of drilled my bumper anyway, then I would of found out you were behind toyota as well. I bumped jack in a chicane , yes. I was off and on the brakes and gas going thru the turn and so was he. After I piledrove my car in turn 1 on lap 3 I think, I was to far to gain any positions.

Easy there. Watch the replay from my view in the roof cam. I did not see his car till it is right at my door panel. Also watch the telemetry as well. Seasons over for me. You get to move on, I dont.

Qualifying when great, got 5th 30.015 (thats good for me as I was running high 33.9s all week)

Had a 32.7 lap but crashed

Wasn't nearly as bad as I thought it was going to be. I figured with all the walls, it was going to be a crash-fest.

The only instance I had was on lap one, where I got lag-bombed by a purple car.
At the start I was too scared to race anyone, my fist SPEC race with a wheel.
During the middle of the race, I was kind of slow (33s). Then on the last couple of laps I decided I might as well try to set the fastest lap. I figured the two cars ahead of me were too far ahead to drag in, and I was just making sure I could make it to the end.

Ran I believe three 32 second laps, all high. My lowest was a .7. The funniest thing happened - I caught up to the two cars in front of me. Sadly, I lost concentration, and just when I was getting in close, I braked late, came way too fast up on TnJ.., decided not to plow him, and took a nice shot to the wall.

But the best part of it all was -

It's actually easier to do this length of race without a controller. Your thumbs aren't tired afterward.

Anyway, see you all at the wild card. I think I'm still in - I'm not sure of the standings because I couldn't see one of the cars on the track.

Booyaa on the popping of your wheel "cherry" mate. Yeah, I can't imagine you will want to go back to racing with the pad again. It just gives so much more immersion with the wheel and pedals.

I still use the pad sometimes for the seasonals, if I just want to grab some credits while sitting on the couch. I also use the pad for browsing the menus because the G27 feels kinda clunky for that.
