Same thing here, but I did not get to race. The top of group B are the guys I was able to run with all week in practice. I was pretty pissed.

I'd like to get back to the race at GVER. To SAM and Veloci, great work guys to get us back to the front pair, especially bribing Turbo's and Dolf's pit crew, I owe you my $100 for that 1! The last 8-10 laps were really close and the last 5 had numerous position changes, with negligible contact. It was on honour to be part of it and exactly the sort of racin' I was hoping to find here with all of you guys. My final corner strategy needs work, as I didn't quite give myself a chance at a run to the line, but hat's off to SAM for the win from 14th on the grid. Just shows the ability of everyone out there. 👍

For Wardez/BlackIce, race was pretty intense to remember when things happened and I haven't watched the replay back yet. But, I'm sure something happened on Lap 8, our pit exit is worth watching too on Lap 15/16 (?), as myself, SAM and Veloci rejoined at the exact time as Dolf and Turbo were coming round and we we're 2 wide in Turn 1! Also the tunnel on the final lap where Dolf made a slight mistake is good too. Hope this helps and look forward to seeing some action played back here, thx guys!

The other day I built up an NC Miata to the specs of the recently revealed 2011 GT car, and find it extremely addicting to drive. STIG can attest to this. Maybe a future race series?

Yea dude it was a really fun race. I watched the replay earlier today. That last lap $%&# up wasnt really a %$#& up at all. I got shoved off by Sam on the 2nd corner and went into the wall, and with GTs' new NO GRIP after going off trick I then hit the wall in the tunnel. That was all she wrote. Man the pits really screwed us Turbo. Mine wasnt near as bad as yours but we still got the shaft.

Well, looking at the replay, our cars went inside each others right when your car slowed to go into the pit box. Not sure if the game just kinda "freaked' out and didnt know what to do.

I appreciate that. Thanks for trying. Wish I could have made it. Got the wife to agree to clear the way for a 7:30 pm race series and to entertain our 2 year old during that hour and a half. Then got screwed by AT&T. I'm trying not to take this as an omen that I should not participate in this series. I am having more fun with this group online than with any online racing in GT5. I may just have to find a series that races after 10 pm.

Lap 13 I think, I didn't have any issues with the tires on long runs in practice but for some reason in the race on lap 11 it was like someone flipped a switch and it went from neutral to snap oversteer while on the brakes. So I pitted soon after.

I was running 1:18.5's-6's when we were drafting there for those laps and I was backing off early into 1 and into the hairpin because I didn't want to push you too deep into the corner knowing you were out front...or close to it, I couldn't see you on my running list anyway so I could have been going faster if I had pushed it.

It's too bad I got caught up in the lap 1 debacle because after my atrocious qualifying effort I didn't think I'd have any problem moving up towards the front and giving the rest of you guys a run for it. Wasn't jbells fault though and I'm sure its not the last time an internet on one end or the other connection is going to screw up a race.

All this talk about the NB has me curious...Anyone have an extra they want to send my way??? I've yet to see one come up in my UCD.

Just PM'd Wardez with all the points of interest in the race last night. I gave him about 5 or so hours of work so if he manages to keep at it, I should be able to get a lot of good footage and you guys will love the trailer that I'm gonna make. After this video is done, I suggest everyone thank Wardez for his effort and time because this isn't easy for him to do, especially since you cant fast forward or rewind replays.

Also, dsgerbc, my hat's off to you because after seeing the replay and seeing how you got screwed over near the end of the race after driving so clean and gentleman like, I respect you for keeping your cool because if it was me, I would go nuts!

Why so many green cars? In real life, I can count 3 or 4 of us with bright green cars out of 5,000 in the class in the country. I know why I chose light green, but why so many others with green? Just curious.

Why so many green cars?

At the time I switched, there was only one lighter/brighter green on brown wheels, so I didn't see anything wrong with dark green/gold. Unfortunately there are not only a lot of greens, but a few green on golds/yellows/browns so I'd definitely pick another color combo if given the chance.

on the last lap on the first turn you were leading and went off into the grass on the side, i followed but didnt slow as much. you came back on the track right in front of me, i nudged you and kept your momentum going which caused for a bad left turn into the tunnel. it was sloppy on both our parts, but you were still right with us at the end! fun stuff

The below series of pictures was from the end of Lap 21/Start of lap 22. Turbo was bump drafting me (Purple and Orange cars) whilst Dolf was bump drafting SAM. This continued all the way down the straight and through T1/T2 before calmly slotting back in line again. Great driving guys!

Just a couple minutes ago I bumped drafted SLC for the whole five lap race, and we were so far ahead the rest of the field didn't even finish. There were only four of us but that's not the point.

early in the race drago and turbo had a sizeable lead over veloci, welsh, and myself. we all worked together and bump drafted to have any shot at catching the leaders. had we battled eachother every turn we would just slow eachother up and our hopes of winning would slowly disappear. we all were racing to win, and luckily all of us saw the bigger picture and worked together to have a shot at the ultimate goal...#WINNING #TIGERBLOOD
