Nah my 1:10.4xx's have all been with a 134 hp, 385pp NA with no lsd tuning :/ This track is all about line.

Not sure what you're getting at... I'm posting those times I mentioned with no upgrades other than SM tyres. I'm still at 115HP. I know this track is about the line. I test all my cars here. This feels like a 'home' race in fact...

On a separate note, if turbo does end up not running another season (which would be very sad ) I would be willing to take the reigns as long as I had a partner in crime If people are tired of miatas by that point (sacrilege!) then I'd be more than willing to start up a spec series with another car (s2k, 370z, rx8 etc.)

BTW, any funny suggestions on color scheme? I was gonna use pink until I saw someone beat me to it. And theres a shocking amount of people using purple. What's the most ridiculous color any of you have come across so far?

I'd prefer colors of the "good looking" variety over "ridiculous". Could use some more darker reds, light silver, dark blue, etc.

Rosso alfa is a gorgeous deep red. It's what I have on my wheels, but I kinda wish I had painted my car with it...

I don't know what it is, but some cars make me want to do goofy things with the paint scheme. With the NA/NB's reputation as "chick cars" I was wanting to do pink, but since you mentioned dark reds, I have a bunch of Rosso Siviglia paint chips from the Countach I was passing around...

Your registration says "FM" Purple. That from the actual name of the chip, or just a reference to Flyin' Miata?

Also, couldn't you just look at the car in your garage?

lavender with pink wheels is probably as "my little pony princess" as it gets.
but I agree with RT, I prefer making cars look aesthetically pleasing.
Pickup trucks on the other hand.... I always coat those things in pinks and baby blues just for irony's sake.

I prefer ridiculous colors schemes, as you can tell, from my stable of Miatas. It really helps my car stand out in those group photos! Besides, the lighter colors show way to many scuffs and scrapes by the end of the race and I like my skittle looking like sweet deliciousness all the time!

@Jett - You should paint your Spec Miata a mint color to go with your recent mint flavored Clif Bar diet! Nom nom nom nom...

Why not a all-rotary-powered spec series? The spec class could consist of FB/FC, the GT class could be prepared FD/FE. It might be difficult to come up with set specs with all the different models, but I'll have to check what's available new at the Mazda dealer.

I checked, the dealer has a 1990 FC @407PP. That works great as a spec car, and either the 2002 FD or the 2007 RX-8 (if SOME people don't want to call it an FE ) would work great as GT cars.

I'm from a background of calling them "First Gen" "Second Gen" "Third Gen" and....RX-8.
