░▒▓█▀▄▀▄▀▄█▓▒░HEY EVERYBODY LOOK AT ME!!!░▒▓█▀▄▀▄▀▄█▓▒░

I've always wondered, how the heck do you do that?:lol:

Well I used copypasta. I have no clue how they do that, and I think that's partially what annoys me... because I ran through every alternate character my keyboard could produce looking for something eye catching for my Toscana thread and I never found anything as obnoxious as that (or I might have used it :boggled:).

is anybody else sick of the ░▒▓█▀▄▀▄▀▄█▓▒░HEY EVERYBODY LOOK AT ME!!!░▒▓█▀▄▀▄▀▄█▓▒░ thread (and the other one that's almost as bad)?

Yes! We should make a stink about it so they get rid of them. (the ^^^ things, not the threads)

►►► I agree, this crap is annoying. ◄◄◄

Hold the Alt key and type in a code to get the characyer.
I was quite an alt code pro back in my windows days, but the
doesn't have them... we only have alt+key
¡™£¢∞§¶•ªº–≠œ∑´®†¥¨ˆøπ“‘«åß∂ƒ©˙∆˚¬…æΩ≈ç√∫˜µ≤≥÷
and shift+alt+key
⁄€‹›fifl‡°·‚—±Œ„´‰ˇÁ¨ˆØ∏”’»ÅÍÎÏ˝ÓÔÒÚƸ˛Ç◊ı˜Â¯˘¿
wherein the most eye catching object would be the .

I have no idea what those may translate to on a windows box and I don't even know if you see the Apple logo on that last line (shift+alt+k).

Seriously. But how... click the report button on their thread?

I was reading up on Anonymous today, since it turns out they're probably responsible for this latest attack on Sony.

In the process, I learned there's an Alt code for 卐. They used it in a prank they played on Google to make it appear at the top of the Google hot list. I apologise if any of you found that offensive btw, just showing you there's a code for it. Weird, huh?

Oh god I can see it now. The kubelwagen schwimmwagen spec series thread title :scared:

Namaste.

The flat swastika originated in India and is still popular in Hinduism and other eastern religions.

The fuhrur adopted it and used it on a 45° angle.

Working on details for my next Online series. I'll divulge some of those details tonight. ;)

Edit: Hint = Targa.

Well turbo, curse you. After you gave me that project 707 build diary, I've religiously read every bit of FM's site :) Oh btw, this is my personal preference ;)

The LSx swaps in an NB make for a great daily driver and track toy. The NA's with the swap are a bit scarier to drive, but it sure is fun. :dopey:

Lol the fact that either car retains ANY mechanical grip is an effing miracle.

Question:

For those who have driven an N/A car and turbo'd it in real life, how does GT5 simulate the TRANSITIONAL response of the turbo when modulating the gas? Is it similar? Good enough? Accurate? Plain bad?

This question only applies if you've driven a N/A miata AND driven the same miata after it's been turbo'd or similar situation with another car.

I'm wondering since I've never driven a car-gone-turbo before, and the Mazdaspeed 3 I drive already had a turbo in it. The response isn't bad I guess.

EDIT:::
A tarmac type of competition RUN BY TURBO/Wardez is definitely very appealing. I have great respect for Rally drivers and all professional drivers alike.
I'm only afraid of the tuning aspect.

GT5 doesn't simulate the feeling accurately at all. I just built up a '00 in the game last night and installed a stage two turbo. Despite the fact it only added 12hp  the car still feels slow.

Turbo Miata in real life = tons more fun.

I added a turbo to a miata and it's like they used e85, threw tons of timing at it, and added an anti-lag system to it with the most efficient turbo setup imaginable, ie zero delay between the time I press the throttle and the time power reaches the tires.

As you know, I follow quite a few miata heads on the forums.

When I watch the following gentlemen, I can see that there's a noticeable bit of struggle to maintain traction at the corner exit with these guys and their turbo miata. It looks quite similar to how I felt with the MR cars and pretty exaggerated with the BTR. I was just curious how this translates to GT5.

That sucks then since that roughly translates to any car that gets a tuning shop turbo put on it just gets free hp. =/

If they had a MS3 I could probably comment on how similar it feels to real life.

The only thing I ever recall PD getting right when it comes to turbos is the sudden onrush of boost you get from the sequential turbos in FD3S's, but that was only in earlier versions of GT. It seems to have been 'removed' from the series at some point...

I have a turbo Mazda Axela on the game and it's fairly fun. Couldn't tell you how they compare though since I've only driven a regular Mazda 3.
