It's nice to see people who can allow others their opinion even if they don't agree with it without attacking them.
But I still don't like this thread.
I'm not saying that anyone here that doesn't like GT is a troll...although, if you don't like GT then why ARE you here, I'm saying is that, with a thread like this, eventually it's going to get shut down anyway because of trolls. I'm not trying to be a troll myself. But I still don't like this thread. I think it's foolish to think that one can have a thread like this and NOT attract trolls.
SuperShoudenBut, if you're a Forza "representative" here in the largest GT fansite in the world, unless you are "gathering data on how to improve Forza" wouldn't you just be a troll? I mean, sure it's the Forza section of the site, but the site IS the largest GT fansite in the world. So...you're either a fan of both, a peaceful representative or a troll.
And to that note, I think this particular thread should be erased 'cause all it's gonna do is attracted trolls.
JuiceMcGooseI'm here because the official Forza forum will not allow anything negative to be said about their game. They review your first 50 or so posts and nix anything they don't like. Once you are past the review stage, if they don't like your post they remove the whole page.
Just because someone doesn't agree with you doesn't mean it's an argument. It's people stating their opinion. It's a tough life thinking every one that doesn't agree with you wants to fight.
, we get yelled at and stones thrown at us.
And anywhere else on the site you mention Forza's name and you get spit on and cussed at.
Which, then it's pointless to have a "FM vs GT" "discussion" because there's no one arguing the GT side 'cause no one wants to be beaten up.
Let's not let one guy ruin a thread that was going perfectly find until the "troll" comment was introduced. The thread had been great until now.
One thing I've seen argued before was the movement of cars weight transfer in these games. I have to say that the races I've seen on TV cars don't really do alot of sloshing around. Some say FM3 suspension doesn't move enough but I have to say they seem to move as much as what I've seen. GT5 seems to be over-pronounced in the movement and weight transfer. What say ye?
Start at the 0:24 mark of my vid and you'll see live footage, cars aren't sloshing around and in the rest of the vid you'll see the FM3 cars aren't either. There is movement but it isn't over the top stuff.

It says 800,000 polys here, not 850,000 my bad. I believe that regular cars are 800,000 and the autovista has 1,000,000. Click on best looking forza yet and read the description.
Also for me the most annoying thing about forza is the annoying driver animations and they just break the immersion when in cockpit.
They had the cockpit hands correct in the e3 2010 demo but then they went back to the lobster claw hands on the steering wheel which look very annoying and the paddle shifting animations are almost not there.

Alright. Bye everyone...I'll try to be around the other parts of the forums, but I'll probably be real quiet.
So Forza 4's gonna be on 4 discs?

More likely it'll be 2.
Realistically, 2 disks again, with the 2nd disk being a content install. Probably will be a big install (10 gig?) this time though.
Then the driveable cars probably won't be 800,000 polygons will they? Unless that's the information we'll be downloading. And I also suspect that all the DLC cars will be featured in Autovista...so...DLC packs will probably be close to a Gig each now...so...Great! I'm all for making the game bigger. Bigger is better, right. Still hope the new Xbox has Blu-ray just to see what T10 can do with it...them and 343 Studios.
Microsoft will have none of that foolishness; if they have to, they'll resurrect HD-DVD.
Oh, come on Terro, what is this all about
