Sorry. :) I forgot that it's Sunday.

Yeah, F1 just made tons of people forget what day it is, not your fault. And can't wait for the race. Finally F1 is back and I have a stream to watch it from. Too bad I missed Sebring...or missing it since it is still going.

I don't even expect the front runners to manage 10 laps on those super softs, they chewed them up too much trying to set pole laps. Like Jenson said during the interview after the race, his front tyres are nearly gone and his back tyres are gone.

Webber was looking at Vettel's and Lewis was looking at both of the RBR tires. Everyone in the top ten is chewed up. This will be very tricky and interesting.

I'm really happy I spoiled the qualifying results for myself now. That is the best front row ever. A bit miffed at the order of the Mercedes though, as I support Rosberg more than Hamilton. I also would have liked the positions of the 2 Ferraris and the 2 Lotus cars to be switched. A bit surprised at di Resta making it up to ninth. I feel Button could have done better than he did. Lets hope that McLaren, or at least Button, steps it up some in the next few races. I'm a bit surprised at how low Maldonado ended up. I feel Pic should be able to race, considering how close he got to the 107% time. All the rookies are in the places I expected them to be in. I don't have anything to say about all the rest because I expected them to be where they got.

I think it's more that the postponement of qualifying confused me.

EDIT: After qualifying, we could see Vettel's tyres and they didn't look very good and I have never seen so much smoke coming off a tyre after qualifying, however that could be because it was very cold.

And I think Vettel did one less lap than others on his set of SS, since he didn't finish his last lap.

EDIT2: Found this picture:

Vettel's, Hamilton's and di Resta's look absolutely horrible of the ones we can make out. It's going to be very interesting how long they will last or how long they won't last...

No, no you wouldn't have. :sly:
Not just the rain but also the wind.

Wait a second, were you that one guy who stood up to wave at the camera, yet couldn't (possibly due to the wind strength) and then kind of stood up, then toppled over... because of the wind?

Man, hope we get a wet race, that would be awesome. Remember what happened when Vettel lost it in Canada giving it to Button. If it does rain at the start, Vettel will have to repeat his maiden win at Monza to regain my respect after his terrible display of racecraft in Abu Dhabi. Yeah, he's awesomely fast, but we need something to keep the blind fanboys down.

Helmut Marko is currently ringing up the guys over at HAARP to keep the rain away.

Didn't see that.
No I spent most of "quali" fighting my $5 poncho against the wind all awhile wiping the $5 sunscreen of my face due to the water streaming down it.
Still was a great fun day at the track with Mr. Rotch though.

As I'm not at the track today, normally I would be happy for it to rain during the race, but for the sake of Mike Rotch and the other GTPers there I really do hope it stays dry.

Cheers Shaun.

Pretty happy with the qualifying results, though I would've liked to see Mclaren a bit higher up (I thought they'd both make it into Q3 at least). But the best thing for me was when Felipe Massa outqualified Alonso, woohoo. Looks like it's going to be an interesting race.

Looks like I may have to retract my criticism with Hamilton moving to Mercedes. This is just the first race of the year, but as this moment it presently looks to be a better position. Granted, that could change shortly, but at the moment...

If it wasn't for the damn tires last year being so cryptic, Merc would've stayed up front a lot more last year, they're a great team, just had to go through some of that classic Honda bad luck.

Btw, no PM's please, I don't want the race spoiled for me as I won't be able to watch it live (currently at work).

Ive only had 90 mins sleep...lots of coffee for me..

Fuel pump problem for Hulkenberg 10 mins before pitlane opens!..

Seems there's an fuel problem with Hulkenberg's car, they've taken the engine out and are going to replace it.

I'm only ever willing to stay up until 1:30, so I won't be able to watch the race live. It is going to be tough trying to not spoil the race for myself.

Unless he can start from the pit-lane, but I can't see them getting an engine in there within the next 27 minutes.

Then I've got good news for you: They'll reair the race tomarrow, 12:00 PM on my end so likely 1:00 PM on your end.

I've got my coffee in hand, and after watching Sebring earlier, it's time for my 25th F1 season. Hope it's a good one!

Hulkenberg's is out of the race. Does everyone behind him move up 1 spot or will there just be an empty space halfway through the grid.
