I thought Michael Douglas did a great job with the podium interviews,
one of the better ones performed by a celebrity so far and it was a nice
surprise to see him up there as he's been one of my favorite actors for a
long time.

Not a bad race overall, but boring in parts.

Really happy that Lewis won, and Max further impressed. Shame about Button and Alonso, but I still hold some hope for them. Unlucky for Vettel and Rosburg.

I thought the same, seems he is a fan as he didn't stumble around words at all.

Who'd have thought that after 7 races of the season, Montreal would have produced the dullest race so far?

The now infamous seagull banter between Lewis & Seb:

With a helmet, the high cockpit side protection and such a low seating position, and arriving into the corner at over 200 km/h I'm amazed he even picked up those birds! What a genius

Bo
When he executes moves that are clearly a deliberate attempt to take another car out the race, or actually contravenes anything in the rulebook.
Do you expect me to believe that he had no idea that his move in the first corner would force Rosberg off the track? Vettel was already clear, so he had plenty of space to give Rosberg enough room to back off without leaving the circuit.

And yes, it goes against the rule book - Carlos Sainz got penalised for doing it to Jolyon Palmer in Russia.

Meh, there are far better looking girls up and down pit lane

Depends on the corner too. Verstappen didn't get penalised for it in Canada at the same corner. Most of the drivers watching the race pointed out that trying to get around the outside of Turn 1 into Turn 2 at Canada usually ends in tears.

Of course he did - just like every other driver who's raced at Montreal would know, especially the one on the outside as there just isn't any track out there. You could argue that Rosberg was at fault for trying something that wasn't on and should have had the experience to bail out, but I'm not blaming him as I agree with the stewards that it was clearly a racing incident which has played out many times at that corner. With the greatest respect, this is sounding like an argument for argument's sake now.

I don't recall him forcing anyone off the track, but the race did begin at 4:00am local time for me, so some of the details mid-race might be a bit fuzzy.

There's a video of the full race here, 1:31:05... Rosberg tries the same move on Verstappen who closes him out completely. This time Rosberg is alert enough to see the gap closing.

Loved how Max held on there. We see so many give up but that was awesome. Why not test the other car a bit, put pressure on their brakes and tyres, you have a good chance they'll fade or make a mistake after a few attempts. I understand it was near the end and early on it's not worth it but I've seen some wilt too easy in similar cases.

As for Hamilton at turn 1, Rosberg is trying something that isn't really on. Rosberg himself admits it was silly. not only is there no room, Lewis is sliding a bit and can't give anymore room, just like in the Austin Texas race. The onboard of Hamilton shows what a poor move it was by Rosberg.
