They should've given him a heavier penalty given it's a repeat offense within a few races.

Start procedure infringement will be investigated after the race. Looks like we'll be waiting for the results again.

This is probably the cynic in me talking, but what does it say about Red Bull that Checo feels the need to ask his team if it's ok for him to pass his teammate who has clinched the World Championship so that he can get extra points to secure 2nd in the WDC?

Also, congrats to George!

Wow, lots of action. Tomorrow should be fun.

Glad KMag got that point. Dude earned it.

Congrats to George on his first win. Yeah, sprint race...

Best Sprint so far (maybe even one of the most exciting races this year). It is a format that works on tracks you can pass on. It's not a dead format, just needs refinement.

I'm glad to see the Merc racy again....maybe just maybe they might get their first win of the season. That being said, was there something wrong with Max's car before losing his front clip? It's odd seeing the Merc keeping up with him after such a dominant season....he usually just wave everyone good bye once he is in clean air? Anyway, this was a fun sprint to watch.

They had worse than expected tire degradation.

But he was on the medium and even Perez was catching him too? If that's the case, nobody should be touching that tire tomorrow!

Speaking of Perez, did anyone hear the team's response to him basically asking if he could get Max's position?

Also, what has been said about those infringements for Lewis, Daniel and Zhou?

... and that he wasn't allowed to.

I think they said the set up wasn't working with the tires and they ended up going away at the end.

Yeah, that's the first time I recall someone asking for team orders for 2nd in the WDC, but my memory may be hazy.

The Stewards reviewed the start sequence, as it was observed that multiple cars were potentially out
of their grid box in violation of Article 8.6.1.a) of the FIA International Sporting Code, being either to
the left or right of the grid box. Having reviewed all available angles of video, and making
measurements on the grid, the Stewards noted that the grid boxes were slightly smaller than usual
and that the drivers’ visibility makes compliance extremely difficult and that no driver was in a position
that gained any advantage. The Stewards are therefore satisfied to take no further action.

It's instances like this that make it really hard for me to root for Red Bull as a whole.
I stopped rooting for Red Bull ever since Daniel left the team. Checo asking the team if he can pass a struggling Max who already won the title was awkward to say the least 😑.

F1 needs to stop exclusively using clips from last season in its "action zone" videos. There been so many much more iconic passes into Turn 1 than that standard Gasly Vs Ocon clip. Find something interesting, not just a random clip from last year.

Lets see if Gasly will complain about the recovery car on track.
It's clear conditions with everyone close and slow behind the safety car. Fully different situation. His complaints in Suzuka were 100% justified
