The final three races of the Formula 1 season begins this weekend with an offset weekend as the sessions are held on Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights respectively for the second trip to the Las Vegas Strip. The circuit is layed out around all the main attractions in Paradise, NV, which is how you're supposed to do a street circuit if we are to be subjected to more of them. The high-speed nature of the track led to passes at pretty much every corner last year as the low-grip surface made it easy for any driver to be faster than the one they were chasing. The race last year just missed out on the cold weather (I know, I was there and the day after the GP was when the cold temps rolled in). Will they be that lucky again, or could we be getting close to single-digit Celcius temperatures for one of the coldest Grand Prix in F1 history? We will only find out at the LAS VEGAS GRAND PRIX.

Red Bull have brought a draggier rear wing than other teams to Vegas, and can't get a lower-drag version flown out in time for qualifying, which isn't helpful on this track with 4 long flat-out sections.

Yeah big shunt for Colapinto, that car slid a very long way! A completely unnecessary crash there Tbh and another destroyed car for Williams to have to repair. Colapinto has been getting results but seems to be racking up the damage in similar ways to Sargeant as the season goes on.

There's no doubting Colapinto's speed but if he could dial it back a couple of tenths he'd be consistent. Which at this point in his career is way more important.

He hasn't had the easiest of entries in to F1 to be fair to him, not the easiest car to drive, multiple street circuits and tough conditions with zero testing.

I'm sure it sucks from the Williams perspective but I imagine the higher uks will give him some benefit of the doubt given how fast he is and Albon hasn't exactly been clean 😅.

I do wonder if Red Bull approached Williams to buy out Sainz once it became clear the asking price for Franco was too high. Seems absurd really that he won't be kn the grid next season.

On that note, I do worry for Albon next season whether he is partnered with Sainz or Colapinto. He's a decent driver but he's clearly been flattered by having seriously subpar teammates. Colapinto has shown him up a few times and I think Sainz could end his career if he doesn't up his game.

Perfectly legal as long as it's done before the start of quali - the only concern would be the stability of the wing.
