Make the pitstop and then Leclerc asks about the strategy - "Uh... we'll get back to you to confirm."

Sainz almost ballsing up the restart.

Ferrari being Ferrari.
Ferrari must be on strategy AA now.

With an OP car.
Remember in 2021 brazil how quickly be passed everyone?
Remember just 2 races ago when he went from 8th to 3rd & 7th to 2nd? Yeah, he definitely forgot how to drive for positions.
When you can pass cars like they're standing still is it really passing?
Good to know you're prepared to treat Max's 2nd championship with the same attitude you seem to have for Lewis' '16-'21, then.

Verstappen has now moved into the podium. Considering Checo is sitting in P2 and the relative pace of the Ferraris, I think the writing is on the wall for this one.

Edit: Sainz's tires are starting to look pretty rough, and Max is complaining about high tire deg.

The good news from Ham/Alo and the Latifi incidents is that we shouldn't see a causing a collision penalty for the rest of the year. Glad the precedent has been made, here.

So Ferrari is gonna try and have Charles do 40 laps on the Mediums...

Also no further investigation between Latifi, Bottas and Ocon.
Could be wrong but I think LEC was suggesting one more stop from here, not that that stop was the one stop.

Incredible how the race is already over and decided in the first 7 laps.

Max is on an entirely different planet at this track.

So, what’s the point of having DRS again? Promoting overtaking or giving positions for free?

I just noticed that the safety car sort of looks like it is on a private island. Is this the only track with a pit exit like that?

Looks like Sainz is still within the pit window. Let's see - Red Bull will go for a 1 stop and Ferrari will be forced into a 2 stop.

So SAI said his tyres were wearing, minute or two later VER said the same and SAI pitted. Now VER is extending. Someone has been to the HAM school of tyre fibbing.

Called it yesterday....Max would be in the lead of the race by lap 15....he managed that on lap 12. This is definitely his race to lose.

DRS seems super effective here. Pre-DRS, you would have to at least work a bit on this straight to set up the slipstream and try to get as close as possible to the car ahead at the beginning.

The problem I have with DRS is that it seems to give you the position for free at most tracks. Personally I do not see the value it brings to this generation of cars with which the design philosophy was to make them able to race closer to each other in the first place.

Ferrari: "So if we stop now, we'll end up behind Gasly."

LecLerc: "...Why would we stop now?"

Ferrari: Fails to answer the actual question.

What the hell is going on in that pit wall?
