I don’t know when the owners of Spa decided to build a totally massive grandstand on top of the hill, but it really takes away some of the charm at Radillion. Just something I noticed while watching qualifying.

As for the session itself, boring and predictable once again.
Looks like a pretty good spot to me.

For the spectators... I was referring more to the aesthetics and how the hill presents itself to drivers. The cosy old-school feel of the turn is gone, and over the years the track has done a good job resisting the industrial feel of many newer circuits. Not anymore it seems.

That's because feels don't pay the bills. Spa got saved because of Max getting wins and getting the Dutch hoard to the track and plenty of people want to pay silly money for an actual seat instead of sitting in the dirt.

Money talks, as ever. They need the extra revenue.

TSU has had a new engine after Quali and will start from the pits, moving everyone from 14th down up a spot, including Max who is now P14.

This means BOT qualified 20th on the road, got a 15 place grid penalty and starts 13th.

Alonso is right.
Lewis only knows how to drive when he starts 1st.
Due to the OP car between 2016 and 2021 he would've forgotten how to fight

So Ferrari is gonna try and have Charles do 40 laps on the Mediums...

Also no further investigation between Latifi, Bottas and Ocon.

Make the pitstop and then Leclerc asks about the strategy - "Uh... we'll get back to you to confirm."

Sainz almost ballsing up the restart.

Ferrari being Ferrari.
