I think bringing Leclerc in was a bad idea, i think the mercs have better tire wear and this just costs them. Even if he gets by Bottas now he'll wear his tires to much.

Ferrari need to stop thinking they can pick any strategy they want. This isn't 2004.

Radio Comms seem like air traffic control.

Crazy how the driver has to ask if they can push or not. I know in plenty of series, the engineer has the numbers, but it always gets me how much this is almost radio controlled cars.

I give Bottas credit for keeping that fast Ferrari behind him this long. Albon has impressed somewhat starting from the pit Lane and all! Horner said they expect him to finish around P6 and he's currently P6.

Ferrari didn't really deserve the win after the radio meltdown in the first stint anyway. Team orders suck when done unnecessarily, and this race was one of unnecessary. Merc showed that different tyre choice to start is a gamble which sometimes works. Alternative strategies is what makes F1 exciting and unpredictable.

Vettel was the fastest driver though so do feel sorry that he lost through no fault of his own.

Get in there HAM.Boy this weekend was tense for mercedes.
The whole vettel drama took the spotlight him and leclerc cant keep butting heads like that,it will be a awkward post race at ferrari.

Sainz Smooth Operator of the day.

Bottas in my personal opinion raced really well today starting behind both ferraris and later in the race holding leclerc back, still the best wingman.

Bringing back V12 is a monkey paw wish.

Hamilton taking fastest lap after fastest lap when the day before he said ferrari had a jet engine was some good unintentional comedy(mercedes sandbagging is back?)

Keeping Vettel out in order to let Leclerc pass was about the most egregious use of team orders since Austria 2002.

F1 has enough problems as it is without this kind of absolute rubbish.
Im a bit of a F1 noob but what could ferrari do to keep leclerc and vettel from clashing on track?

They had a plan and Vettel refused to swap (as per the plan). If they’d had no team orders Leclerc would have defended from Vettel at the start and given Lewis a sniff into T2.

I don’t see the problem with Ferrari enforcing a swap via the stops if Vettel refused to follow team orders on track
