NO NO NO, DO NOT THANK ME!!!
All credits go to :
@nowcontrol This post, and this and this and
@Ninners posted this and
@Joerg Pointed it out to me.
@GTP_CargoRatt had his suspicions
@lisanorm saw it here and
@Iceman220 posted it
@Rit saw it

Please, @SWR_WeiTN do not thank or credit me.
I only posted that the cheater is gone.

I would say more like inside knowledge. :sly: I knew it was coming, just didn't know exactly when and also if someone was going to be brave enough to try it knowing what the consequences would be. I will say this though, you can expect more of the same in the near future if things go according to plan.

Tried a couple days ago... Silverstone has always been a really miserable track for me (lines are less than stellar on Abbey and Ireland and that final Luffield section messes me up good). But, that Gold Chrome paint was a worthy cause for me to face my slight dread. :D

With some practice, on the fourth attempt, I managed to scrape Gold by literally half a second... 1:40.504. I tuned for quite a bit more understeer with stiffer springs and more downforce in the rear, but now that I've got some "decent" lines figured out, I think with some better tweaks to the suspension, I can nab a less laughable lap time. ;)

You can triumph on even your worst tracks.

Ok, I'm currently using @DaBomb330 (thank you very much) tune (DFGT) and it seems quite fast and relativily easy to hanle. I think I was little faster with this than praiano tune, but praianos tune is one to go with if you are strugglin with handling.

Made 3 laps in 1.31:2xxx yesterday and only seems like a matter of a clean lap to make it under .31 and after that who knows what... I think I did my current PB (1.31.2xx) with accel sens on 12 but I think I could be faster if I'd learn to drive it on 15 like in the original tune, I can also be wrong... Do you guys think it would be faster with higher accel sens?

And thanks for @Weider for sharing

What a difference a sorted tune makes, tried @DaBomb330 tune and found over 1.5sec compared to my basic tune. Down to 1:32.137 last night with the DS3 default setup, thanks Weider for the recommendation, awesome tune, worked straight out of the box.👍 The stock car felt like a skating donkey on Thursday.:scared: Thanks also to everyone that posted tunes, every tenth earned on this TT will be something to celebrate. Got to be brave, got to be brave, don't lift.:nervous::lol:

So "suspicion", wasn't a bad choice of words.;)

I've been thinking about that psn name, i would almost think it is done on purpose.
A test from "hackers". Make polyphone "aware" of a problem.But it is just a guess.
I don't mind mods for GT6, just not in online ranks.I would like to have a modded car in my game, just for fun.(I did some myself in San Andreas pc-game.( cleo dragtrack and san fierro camera mod))
I've seen a '66 beetle in GT6 with wide rear tires, looks better then what we can do now with the original data.

Sorry for the off-topic post.

After 2 weeks away from the game I've forgotten how to drive, though admittedly I'm not used to this car anyway.
Silver after 4 full laps & around 5 restarts for spinning (plus another for flipping the car over).
I'll have a proper go at it either tomorrow or later tonight.

Edit: Watched the replay of Immortal & had another go. Very next lap, 1:39.974 for position 7,467 & some gold paint. It turned out that I had been braking far too much.

Now there's a consistant guy: I'm sitting at p392 and above me on p389 is a "Roadrunner-MTK" and on p390 is a "MTK-Roadrunner":lol:

Still fail to see the justification for having more than one COMPETITIVE account though...
I want to know also why some players have more than one account for a TT, and what do you get out of doing this.

Hey Roweer1 it feels good now because I am always No.1 on my friends leaderboard. :lol:

Well a 1:31.007 with my DS3. Very tough event for us controller users I'll will be interested to see if any DS3 users can crack the 1:29.xxx barrier I will be happy with a low 1:30.xxx Come on @Ed_Night :P I'm using @DaBomb330 suspension & @praiano63 gear ratios with some minor tweaks of my own. I'm really enjoying this one even though it is hard to even come close to the wheel users. :gtpflag:

I have 2 accounts but I'm never as high as that in the rankings.
For me it's a matter of location.
A PS3 in 1 town & a different PS3 in another. This is purely so that I can play more often than I could if I only had 1.

I don't quite follow. You can activate two PS3s on one account. I currently do this as I spend a few days in two different parts of town. If what you want is two different save files, then that's a another story.

I was already using the 2 different machines/accounts before I ever wondered if it was possible to use the same account for both.
Now that I've ended up with 2 different saves without really planning ahead, I don't want to lose either of them.
I would prefer if everything I'd done in the game had all contributed to one save so that I would have a bigger garage.

S_Bridge you could load your save on a USB stick each time you're going to the other place upload it there and repeat. But I could see how that'd be easy to forget and then be stuck. I know I would forget. :lol:

EDIT: Improved by just a hundredth or so tonight after a few hours so I think that's it for me. 1:31.7XX and just over 150th place at the moment. :)

On the plus side my new fast lap is much less... scruffy haha.

I'm used to the situation, it's become just a part of playing the game for me now.
A bit worried that this has got in the way of the thread about the seasonal event.

Well done mate. 👍 My goal of staying within a second of you is nothing but a dream now. :(

Wilson, I'm sure there'll be plenty of trials to come where I'm begging for a miracle to catch your times! That's the fun in it all, isn't it? :) Hopefully they'll throw us some TTs without the crazy HP the FGT has that also don't allow that damn GSX-R. :lol:

I also had a go at the FGT Time Trial challenge. I find it really hard to hit the apex, because everything happens so damn fast!
Still managed a 01:33:018. Exactly 0,154 seconds faster than @t_wilson01 . The challenge is on, mate! :D:D:D

Impressive running a live lap in front of the camera! I'd choke for sure lol.

I had to turn the track map and ghosts off so I wouldn't panic when I was ahead towards the end. Almost even turned off the timing it was getting so bad. :scared:

There's an easier way to avoid being distracted by ghost lines and sector times, just turn off the TV and let the force guide you. Maybe then I'll get a better lap than you. :D
