Raining again here in Hungary

And the lower temperatures are going to be the real difference today! Even if we have a dry race, we could see a real change in performance for some cars on a colder track surface.

Awesome, there were reports that there was to be no more rain a few minutes ago.

Webber did say that the rear suspension was changed on Vettel's car during the curfew session, but was not changed on his - but he also said he had left the circuit before the decision was made and did not have any issues with his suspension, so the team had no reason to change it.

I was actually half joking, but yes the point I was referring too was the fact they changed Vettel's car and not Marks.

I do believe strongly that Vettel is being favored, but strongly acknowledge the fact Mark has struggled with the new rubber and has had endless troubles with KERS.

I don't believe they are artificially slowing the car, but emotionally and support wise it Vettel tends to have more available too him. That fact. Thats F1.

The situation at Red Bull is like all others Seb's favoured but Mark isn't compromised.. just like at McLaren.. Lewis.. Ferrari... Alonso... Merc.. Schumi. But the others are not compromised.

And some are better than others hiding this favouritism.

I feel that the order is still pretty balanced even with the different temperatures. I'd say it's more the difference in drivers and who can best get the temperature into the tyres.

If I were to put a bet on it though (Meaning the following isn't fact, just my opinion before someone jumps into that one), I'd say the colder temperatures will benefit Hamilton, Webber and Alonso throughout the race but be detrimental to Button's performance in the first stint (Though Button will begin to catch the leaders in subsequent stints as per usual). Vettel and Massa will be relatively unaffected but will move back in real terms.

I am confident that Mclaren, as has been the case for most of the races this season, will have the fastest race package and so I think another Hamilton win is in order, unless he plants it into Vettel's sidepod into turn one which is just as likely.

Bite your tongue. Now. :P

So it's a damp/wet track but no sign of any more rain.
The 3 new teams should start on slicks.
Although latest says light rain will still be here for actual start.

Hm, I wish some drivers would go for the "normal-slicks" tyres, the hard ones, would be very interesting to see how they would do with them in the start of the race. *waits excited*

I don't know if it's because it's early in the morning, but Horner's short interview just annoyed the hell out of me: "He didn't press the button..."

Sure, that's believable. Problem =/= Didn't press button.

Good old Mark webber, with the little comment about Sky and Ted Kravitz have a flap with his reply!

And end up not making the first corner, massa on his out lap had a major moment with his intermediates, any more rain and it would be in full wet territory.

Very likely of course yes, and it was Alonso btw.

It will be the most boring race of the season. In the first corner it will be Vettel, Hamilton and Button, in that order, and that will also be the end result. There will not be a single pass in the top five during the entire race apart from Alonso taking Massa at the start.

More boring than Valencia? I think not, sir.

Is the official live timing working properly for anyone? For me it's saying there's currently no live session but usually at this point there would be some information feeding through.
