Daddybird, it's been made clear we're not to discuss GT5 in here. So unless you're trying to get banned, you should probably stop.
Forza 4's looking like it could be one hell of a game though. I just hope Kinect isn't too big a part of it, because I'm not a fan.
A little late for that - Daddybird is now on a 24 hour holiday from GT Planet.
When I said action would be taken I was not joking, testing the staff here is never a good idea. Something you would do well to take notice of on your return.
Do you really want me to quote the direct mention of GT or just the parts that are continuing the discussion I stated was to end?
Or will the action taken against Daddybird be enough to make the point?
Anyone who continues making un-needed GT and FM comparisons will be taking a similar holiday.

It's replying to someone else mentioning it and thus continuing the conversation I said was to stop that is the problem.
That you didn't initiate it is beside the point, you continued it after I said it was to end.

It's gonna be tough to top Forza 3, but I have faith in them. I hope they just at least bring back the pits, give us more wheel support, and give us leaderboards. I would also like to see hoppers still, as well as the old lobbies as an option.

Hope they can add night racing, rain to mix it up a bit. Wouldn't mind some dirt and snow courses too.

That's a weird glitch on the steering wheel.
All the detail on the Ford is nice though. While controller-free driving is definitively a gimmick, I can't wait to play with the walkthrough.

I am quite excited for FM4, I've really liked the other games in the series and I'm guessing this won't disappoint either. One thing I do hope they include is a track creator, it's a pretty cool feature in GT5 and it's something the FM series would benefit from greatly! I also hope they include some sort of autox or gymkhana course/ course creator. I kind of hoping for something along that lines in 3 but hey they are always adding new features!
I know the car list will be awesome too. I do hope they add in even more low end cars this time around too. I loved turning a generic economy car into a weekend racer!

I'm sure they will build further on the excellent livery editor which is the single most important aspect for me because Forza does it so well and it gives you the opportunity to in essence create an unlimited amount of cars and make your individual mark on things.
I recon it will be possible for Turn 10 do to that car walk around thing for all the cars because they already have modeled all the interiors from the existing ones so all they need to do is the engines. Its all very TDU and I like that feature.
I hope the Kinect stuff is just a unique mode or a side option for driving because it would be terrible to use. For opening bits of the car and walking around though it sounds promising.
They are just going to have to optimize the hell out of this game because storage is not on their side. I could imagine them having the potential to do great things on the next gen Xbox hardware.

I hope they focus on offline features more than online. I don't want to buy another game where features are locked away unless I pay more than what the game cost.
Release window is perfect. GT5 now, Shift in Spring possible FM4 in fall..... No wheel kinda takes the joy out though.

Dunsfold aka TGTT is where the Ford GT pictures are set, so don't fear about the TG tie-up only being the US version.
Hugely excited for this. T10 deliver what they can in the timeframe given and as FM3 did a heck of a lot right, they haven't exactly got to rip it apart to make the new one.

That 60 M7C looks so sick! I would love to drive that. But for me this can get even more expensive, I have a G27 and don't want to spend another $450 for another wheel. That is pretty stupid. As far as consoles go the xbox is my first choice and has been for years so when I have to buy a console game I get it for that first. But the lack of g27 support is killing me. I would love to play this game, I just need support for my wheel. The trailer looks awesome.
Back to topic I would love to see weather, didn't they have it in the last PGR? Night racing would be awesome. Oh and have at least 16 cars in races.
