My opinion:

In race graphics - GT5 by a hair. But, I haven't seen FM4 in game cockpit on my tv in 1080p yet. Going off these videos alone, kind of hard to say because it is certainly biased due to the fact that I know what GT5 looks like in 1080p.

Sound - No contest - FM4

After watching your videos, I must say that I was surprised because the one thing that stood out was the interior of the Pagani Zonda R is a lot better in the GT5 clip, I have seen the Carbon Fiber in the Zonda R and the GT5 one is much more true to the original, the FM4 does not do it justice at all. I was also lookig at the steering wheel which is Alcantera in the real car and looks much better in the GT5 clip.

I am not looking to start any kind of "This Game is better than that game stuff", those are just my observations base on viewing what was posted.

^ Agreed. GT still has a notch up on the interiors but I wouldn't trade it for that true to life exhaust sound.

I have to say the jaggies ruin the GT5 interiors in those comparison videos. That alone makes FM4 the victor for me. But other than that they are extremely well done, although I can't decide whether the carbon in GT5's Zonda R is overdone, some places look o.k, but the weave looks too huge on the A-pillars for example.

I've been noticing, a lot of these pics of modded cars are having wide body kits on them, possible that they've gone a bit further with the visual customisation than before?

I'm relatively unfamiliar with Skylines, but the one above looks to have a widebody kit on it.

I've been hoping for widebody kits, too, but so far, seen nothing. I've seen a few painted ones aldready, and that's it...

That FM3 pic looks just a touch narrower but not by much. The FM2 pic looks like you can almost fit 3 of those RX7's side by side on the banked section. The FM3 pic looks like it would fit more like 2.5.

I just got done playing Forza 4 at my friend Kit place. He's a member of Black Jack Drift Team. The Team that was show cased in Forza 3 opening Video. I hate to say but the grahpics are far better than GT5. I hope the up coming update does something. If not Forza is going to be number one for sometime. Xbox has really picked up there game.

I am not sure what you mean? Can you link a pic or something? I also thought he was talking the black cockpit view...
