Are you saying it doesn't look good? Your post is very confusing.
No. Is just that even the S15 is given attention due to its looks. I may think it doesn't look good, but it shouldn't matter. Love the car from what it is. Sorry if my post confused you. :)
There are more that I noticed from past FM5 screenshots, but I'm not going to make that an issue here.
Agreed. 👍

So now that we've cleared up the whole S15 thing (and @Wolfe really played a solid there with EPR's awesome old model 👍 ), I've gotta ask:

Whats up with the horrible car models in forza 5? alot of them don't even look like the counterparts and certainly no where near GT5 premium models

Since there's "alot" of them, I wouldn't mind seeing some of these other ones, numerous as they apparently are.

Oh! I'm amazed we went so far and didn't even cover GT5's "perfect" track width on the S15

But that didn't stop you from bringing it up, did it?

Yes, so ? I am free to keep it for myself, it doesn't really bother me, there's always going to be flaw in model accuracy. I see a lot of people are happy with the car models in FM5, so be it. I am not going to convince anyone otherwise. I posted about it awhile back in other FM5 thread about one car, not going to repeat that again.

So then, why bring it up? What exactly were you hoping to accomplish? Get your point in without having to defend yourself? What exactly is that adding to these forums?

I'm curious what you feel is so wrong about it? Yet again, you jump on a post that is negative towards Forza. You're always so quick to defend GT, why is it never the other way around?

I'm not being negative about anything though. Sure I don't like it (mostly the front and lights) but it shouldn't matter, that doesn't mean I want to make a big deal over its looks. And if there's things I find negative about GT, are mostly in GT5. How about you with FM? Not wanting to cost an arguement.

How many premium cars does GT6 really have? Lets say 240 from GT5, and about 120 new for GT6.

Thats 360 total.

Yet we know theres almost two dozen "base model" dupes, and other oddities like a premium 2005 and 2006 Ford GT, as well as about 2 dozen NASCAR models that pad that 360 premium car number. And we know PD's premium cars likely arent as detailed as Forza 5's, on both inside and out.

The same thing can be applied to tracks, really. If PD's standards of tracks was the same as Turn 10's, almost none would

I have nothing to accomplish, and I am not going to waste my time trying to make anyone believe what I feel about car models in certain game.

In FM5 or any Forza. What are your dislikes, or do you have any? No problem if you don't want to share. Just asking.
My biggest dislike is the lack of any real racing structure. No pit strategy. No discernible tire wear or fuel consumption within the standard career. For that matter, no endurance races.

Don't worry Hal, you already answered it yourself:

You're always so quick to defend GT, why is it never the other way around?

A quick browse of post likes shows a pretty obvious trend.

Ahh okay. Thanks for sharing. :) My biggest dislike in GT is no livery editor, badly programed A.I. lack of events, having to buy paint chips over and over, lack of customization, and most importantly, the loading times. Ugh.

Oh yeah, I forgot to add. Also the UCD, rather have all cars unlocked like in FM. Also hoping the engine sounds improve too.

No, but you still want to get in your 2 cents without having to actually back it.

That's why Hal is asking why you even bothered posting that you have an issue with certain models if you aren't going to post what it is. You're trying to hang onto some sort of defense that you're not out to accomplish anything or convince anyone, but the intention behind why you posted in the first place shouldn't have anything to do with that.

I don't have personal issue with FM5 models, I simply said I noticed some inaccuracies that do not bother me, as they are still great detailed models, just like other game ( GT5 or GT6 ) I don't know why everything has to be judged as defense. I posted about one car in picture thread, back then I realized it was a waste to post further about it, as I only tried to inform about it, but some may have taken it as something else.

Would you at least take a few seconds of your time to point these inaccuracies out since you brought them up in the first place? Some of us are genuinely interested.

Seeing the reports about GT6 dripping in, 2005 car models in a 2013 game... it was already disgraceful in GT5 and they just ignored all the criticism and ported them straight back into GT6 which leaves me with little hope the lame race structure will have improved or the AI will actually provide a challenge all of a sudden.

We already know for sure the sounds will still suck...

It's incredible how PD blatantly ignores it's own fan base time and time again, whilst T10 makes all the moves i wanna see from a racing game developer.

Might go for a Xbone after all even tough that means having to invest in a new wheel...

You look like a FM fanboy. Give GT6 a week at least before you make those final conlusions. FM5 already had faliures and the lack of content and lack of hardware compatible is a great "no no". FM4 was an overall better game when it first appeared. FM5 probably will be the best FM game but you will have to spen a LOT of money to get it. Unless you're happy with 14 ou 15 tracks and 200 cars...

Not hard really becoming a T10 fanboy these last 3 years, but you're right we have to wait till we have conclusions regarding the career mode and the fun factor of races in GT6.

If GT6 does turn out to be another fail regarding these factors, i'll pick it up later anyway tough for the joy of hotlapping.

Anyhow if i buy a new console it will be late 2014 or even 2015 when it will all be a lot cheaper and FM6 will be round the corner, so the content argument will be rendered useless ;)

Were you dissatisfied with GT3? With GT5P?

Haters gonna hate...

Gt3 was much better than GT2 in all departments except the number of cars. :)
GT5P I didn't even played it. Driving a car in a PSP wan never a good thing to do from my point of view.

From FM4 to FM5 a looooottt of content was droped out. The graphics and the drivatar are not a good excuse IMO. But it's the first game in the 4th gen consoles and T10 will make a lot of money with DLC... maybe in a near future FM5 will became the best FM game ever (overall).
