Forza 5 Car & Track List

I don't care about what content is carried over from previous titles. My gripe is that, besides the P1, there have hardly been any new cars shown. T10 could at least have one new and one returning car each week as the two screenshot additions to the Showroom lists. Unless there are only ~10 new cars to the series in FM5, T10 could easily show one every week leading to launch and still have much more to be discovered by the player.

or they want to make a big impression in the last couple weeks, but until then let the beatings continue.

I personally like seeing whats carrying over, theres a lot of cars I liked. As for new cars, It's not like GT where it's on it's second release for the PS3 in 5 years and little meaningful DLC.

There will be very few new cars and most will likely be showed closer to release.

Didnt they already say something about 120 new cars? I forget the exact number.

this number has been quoted by quite a few people, but its source was the french amazon page that T10 said was not accurate.

Ah ok. Wasnt exactly sure where I seen it, but thanks for clearing that up 👍

I feel like Turn 10 is going to avoid a lot of issues later on by showing these cars that have been featured in their previous games. If my favorite car(s) is/are not in the game then do I really need to buy it. Of course I will try out the new cars but I'm pretty sure my favorite car(s) is/are going to be the car(s) that I drive the most. I still want to drive the Audi R8 in Forza 5 because I enjoy it so much in other games and in other Forza's.

I believe more people would complain if they had no warning that their favorite car is not in the new game.

This. Besides, the big news story on 11/22 is going to be the Xbox One, not any particular game. Let the money come out of Microsoft's marketing budget and ride the coattails.

For any complaints about showing cars that are returning and not many that are new, at least a decent number of the returning cars launched in the last couple of years and not 2005.

In collaboration with Xbox One, Dale Earnhardt, Jr.'s Talladega #88 car will be available for Forza 5 through every2minutes.com!"

Assuming this will be on the older Chevy stock car body already featured in Forza. If the Gen6 was in Forza 5, I feel they would've already announced it, like IndyCar. But we'll see.

Why would they announce a new partnership and use old assets? I'd say this is an almost-confirmation of the car above being in. The fact that we're 5-6 weeks out means there's plenty of time for announcements.

I would'nt expect them to clarify on the generation of stock cars to be in the game until they release a full blown car list anyway.

But yeah, it wouldn't make any sense at all for them to have a partnership and then just paste the design on an older car.

Another car confirmed by outside media, along with the HSV GTS from the recent Bathurst meet. Welcome, Fiesta ST.

The Mini's plastic wheelarches and sidemirror both look great. The chrome roof also looks legit.

That new R8 looks like fun..

T10 has great car selection, even though we might get less cars i dont think we will be dissapointed in the end.

I would like to see some more race cars revealed. After all the game is called Forza Motorsport. And Production cars are not what you would expect in professional Motorsport.

Completely untrue. Many racing leagues have stock-spec classes.

Pirelli World Challenge's B-Spec is hilarious to watch... Honda Fits and Mazda 2s and the likes duking it out. Great fun.

I love those races!

My favorite was at the Rolex Grand-Am races at Mid-Ohio last year. I'm not sure what the class was called, but it was a mash-up of old del Sols, RX-7s, Miatas, Corollas, etc. Absolute blast to watch!

Maybe where you are living. In europe professional drivers get paid for driving race cars not stock cars . Anyway stock cars don't get me really exited. I hope to see more race cars revealed during the next weeks.
