The Q7's inclusion would make sense, if only to give the Rangie and Raptor a playmate. It's not like we can get a Cayenne.

I don't think they'll be doing a huge reveal of the remaining portion of the car list; I think they're (rightly) assuming someone will grab a video of the selections available in the game after the 6th. Exciting.

They should stick with the Merc ML63 AMG.

I've been re-running that a lot in FM3 lately, and I forgot how fantastic it is. A completely different flavour to the more or less uniform selection of tracks in FM4 (and the cut-down version being, well, too cut-down).

Also, Audi's let slip that this is their complete lineup in-game:

1983 Sport quattro
2006 #2 Audi Sport North America R8
2006 RS 4
2010 R8 Coupé 5.2 FSI quattro
2010 TT RS Coupé
2011 RS 3 Sportback
2011 RS 5 Coupé
2012 #1 Audi Sport Team Joest R18 e-tron quattro
2013 S4
2013 R8 Coupé V10 plus 5.2 FSI quattro
2013 RS 7 Sportback

Pleasantly surprised they used the 2006 RS4 in place of Horizon's new version. Although I expect it'll be DLC again, so we'll be paying twice for it.

Oh, I didn't think they'd drop the B7 version, it has such a cult following. Am a bit surprised they gave us the updated current S4 instead of the RS4 though, but as you said, it's probably being saved for DLC. IIRC, the current one is Avant-only, so hell yes.

I'm just hoping they leave the E63 AMG in as it is and not making it the biturbo facelift model.

Yas Marina revealed on game case.

Any confirmation from Turn 10 regarding the inclusion of Yas Marina Circuit?

Nothing besides what's on that box.

Which I guess could be a fake, but it has all of that serious small text at the bottom like real game cases.

Yeah, it looks pretty legit :) Not that many racing games have the Yas Marina Circuit as far as I know and it doesn't look like came from Grid 2 nor iRacing (I'm not sure if iRacing has the track).

My dream has beem realised. Day one LaFerrari Vs P1. Old Mulsanne Straight. The showdown.

This months copy of evo Magazine in the post today and I was reading through the Forza Motorsport 5 section. It seems the people at evo have leaked news that the Nurburgring Nordschleife will arrive in January, and not with the game at launch - 22nd November.

Here is what it says:

"...Connect the Xbox One to the internet and you'll also be able to get all the very latest content - further new tracks and new cars - as soon as it's available. And in January, that will include arguably the most challenging circuit on the planet - the Nurburgring Nordschleife. Well known to evo readers, the Ring has become the ultimate performance benchmark, a lap time the supreme arbiter of a supercar's talents. From January, you'll be able to compare your times with the test drivers from McLaren, Pagani and all the others..."

This is what it says. And it clearly states the Nurburgring will be DLC in January. This is probably a good thing - touching the Ring up so it's in top shape and 100% accurate for us Forza fans? I hope so, and I see no other reason why the Nurburgring would come as DLC otherwise after the game's launch.

If it's going to be DLC that many months after launch, I can't imagine they're doing anything short of remodeling the track entirely.

It's going to be out in january so less than 2 months from launch.
The few hints they've dropped makes me think they'll do nordschleife and the GP track and the 3rd layout will be both.
They are going to let you compare your times with those of real world cars which a lot of people would be happy to pay money for.
In my opinion, the nickel and dime strategy that worked in FM4 and was taken a bit further in FH has now really blown up in FM5.
I'm starting to have very mixed feelings about my purchase.

Yeah, it's only 2 months after launch, but I think it's a safe bet that whatever changes are being made to the Nurburgring have been in the works longer than the few hours that have passed since the news hit. Two months wouldn't be enough to model the track, no, but it would also be far too much time for a simple change like stitching the tracks together.

So my money is on the track being all shiny and new. Though this is based on nothing but blind optimism.

I have no doubt the track is all new.
We can't compare real world lap times with that of the current fantasy forza Nurburgring. They wouldn't be able to get away with it.

Well, that's incredibly disappointing. I mean, good that they're focusing on redoing it, but bad that there'll be a wait, and a likely price tag, associated.

Roll on complete car list...

Hey Kake Bake, Yas Marina Circuit has been confirmed from the Forza 5 launch trailer :D YES!!!
Ha, I saw it too. Going by the trailer, I'd say 5 is going to be a watershed moment in the series.

The focus on real-word international tracks and actual cool racing cars hopefully marks a turn away from Country Squires and Sunset Speedways.
