Imagine the sheer glee on my face when I clicked "get it FREE" and it took me to a "add a credit card" page..
Man, it's times like these that are really a test of patience and loyalty as a fan.
WHY in blazes do they need a credit card for? I don't have one.. I'll probably never need one... how the heck else are we supposed to download the demo???
I must have downloaded half a dozen demos since getting my X1.. signature games too... none of them asked for a stupid credit card number.
What a sour taste this puts in your mouth. In no hurry to get the game now. Thanks for your BS games T10.

Dude.. I feel like hammering a wall down. I don't have a CC, and there is NO other way to download the demo except for entering CC info.
That is LAME.
Is it not asking you for credit card info? You probably have one linked with your profile.

I am hoping that works too. I set my X1 to "Auto on" before I left this morning. I just queued it up to download. Not sure if that will go into the "ready to install" section, or if it will actually start downloading.I've just set my demo to download from work, it should be done by the time I get homeI can't wait to give it a try!
Wow that sucks really bad. What about getting a 0% CC and just don't use it? You can sign up for those just about anywhere in a couple minutes.
And yes I have a CC linked in my profile for other purchases but it didn't ask for it.

Hopefully this is a temporary glitch about the CC. I can see where that would be insanely frustrating.

Is this normal for xbox one? my currency is $0.00. I had like $5.00 but they told me it was going to expire a month ago so i ended up purchasing a few cars in forza 4. Do you need GOLD to get demos now?

This seems like a bug or glitch. All of you should reply on the T10 forums or somehow provide feedback about the CC info. Or contact MS. If enough people complain, I am sure it will be resolved.

There you go; since there's one linked already, that screen didn't pop up. Though it baffles me why does T10 want to put people through credit card verification if they haven't linked their accounts to one? Plain bizarre.
I believe that's a debit/ATM card you're referring to. You do know the difference, right?

You can also use a debit / ATM card for xboxlive. That's what I use. I called it a Credit card but mine is my bank card. Debit ATM card. Still classified as a credit card.
