The demo diseppeared from my store. I think they are fixing the credit card issue .
Thanks, I am stuck on 26% and will give an update on the FFB and physics for the wheel users if anyone is interested.Sorry, I'm a control user. I have a feeling all your questions will be answered in the hour. I really like the feel, not as slippery as FM5.
Dude.. I feel like hammering a wall down. I don't have a CC, and there is NO other way to download the demo except for entering CC info.
That is LAME.
Is it not asking you for credit card info? You probably have one linked with your profile.
For all you wondering about CC info, have you never bought anything or downloaded any games for gold yet? You need to have a CC/Debit card linked as its a transaction, even though its $0.00. It's not T10 asking for the Credit Card, and its not their problem. Its Microsoft. There you go; since there's one linked already, that screen didn't pop up. Though it baffles me why does T10 want to put people through credit card verification if they haven't linked their accounts to one? Plain bizarre.
www.forzamotorsport.net - go to the fm6 discussion forum and voice your complaint. This is un-frikkin-acceptable... creating hype for a free demo then asking people to enter a credit card number? We're not robots, we're actual people! And we don't need to enter s*** just to claim our free demo.

I never needed one to purchase free DLC for FM5 and Horizon 2 though. For all you wondering about CC info, have you never bought anything or downloaded any games for gold yet? Still none of this is new, if you've ever purchased anything, free or not.
Really? And you've never had one linked to your account?I never needed one to purchase free DLC for FM5 and Horizon 2 though.
I have downloaded a lot of free stuff, not once they did aske for CC.For all you wondering about CC info, have you never bought anything or downloaded any games for gold yet? Never. I never bothered with it. I just used those $15-$50 pre-paid cards you get at stores.Really? And you've never had one linked to your account?

I'm going to assume that neither of you have Xbox live?I have downloaded a lot of free stuff, not once they did aske for CC.
Then I'm going to assume that is the problem here. It never occured before because you've had those card in your system, so there was no need for CC information as the transactions where going based off your walletNever. I never bothered with it. Nope. I got the FH2 demo without issue as well. It very well be a glitch.I'm going to assume that neither of you have Xbox live?
I wonder if the difference between the two issues is one is DLC and one is a demo.
Hmm odd.Nope. I got the FH2 demo without issue as well. It very well be a glitch.
Sorry wasnt paying attention, i call my bank card "credit card" and thats what i use on xbox live, hence why i though it was weird to live withoutI believe that's a debit/ATM card you're referring to. You do know the difference, right?
Yes. Always a couple of cents you can never get off. Such is the downside of those cards; you lose a bit of change you can't spend elsewhere.Hmm odd.
At the time, did you have any money in your online wallet?
Then that's why. You had currency to go off of, even though it was a $0.00 transaction. That' is why it never popped up in the first place. Everything you download on Xbox goes through as a transaction, regardless if its free or not. So that way its saved in your queue for you to download in the future, if you ever feel the need to.Yes. Yeah I do. That would explain it. I've had at least $0.10 in my wallet since I started buying things from the store; so I never would've got that message. Then that's why. Unless, you have money in your online wallet right now?
