Forza 6 News Incoming?

^ This.

I personally think that FM4 & FM5 have some of the best physics in a console racing series to date!

Just don't go using the simulation steering setting with a controller. ;)

I sure hope so but even F5 has headlights. But no night racing. So when it comes to Forza marketing, you never truly know what we are going to get.

Hoping for....

1. Night Day racing
2. Weather
3. Auction House
4. Storefront
5. WAY more cars. Closer to the count in F4.
6. A lot more tracks. Closer to the count in F4.

If those last two don't surpass F4, I think that will be a big disappointment. I really am hoping for dynamic time change too.

I was just saying that American manufactures get priority most of the time.
EDIT: I've got Forza 3, 4 and Horizon, No need to start a comment war.:)
Well of course. Like Japanese cars with gt and European with assetto corsa :)

@FosterG I think if you expect those two to surpass fm4, you're most likely going to be disappointed.

A more realistic expectation I would say is to match/ get close to fm4's numbers

I'd like to see 400 cars at launch. If they can do this, I'd be extremely happy as I have stretched out FM5s car list to this day, and I didnt buy most of the DLCs. I expect to have 1k hours on FM5 by the launch of FM6.

I would also hope for a similar count of cars to F4 but that's just not happening. F5 only released with 200+ cars after a couple years of development. So we will be very lucky if we even see 400-500 cars in F6. F4 had almost 700 cars. To expect any more than 400-500 would be wishful thinking. I don't have my expectations set that high. If it has 500+ cars with night day and weather I will be quite happy and will pre-order the game. Otherwise, I will just wait and see what happens. It will take quite a bit to motivate me into buying F6.

I will say fm5 is a bit slidey, especially on lift off
I've learned to never ever use a stock tune after modifying a car. For some reason T10 give you the absolute worst throw together tune I've ever seen. Most of the time the settings dont even make sense.

I think I underestimate my own skills. Most of my cars arent tuned at all, and I usually wipe the floor in online races, and Im quite fast in Rivals lmao.

I'm fairly fast as a driver as well, I can usually get in any car and do pretty good. I slap a generic tune on most of my cars, but the ones I really want to work on, I do everything I can to the tune.

You must not play Forza. Forza isnt mostly American cars, its quite balanced.
Sorry its just they all look the same to me.:indiff:

http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/d...es-more-cpu-power-to-xbox-one-developers-blog

One thing to consider for Forza 6's development is the recent news that Microsoft will be updating the software development kits(SDK's) for developers to allow them to use 7 out of the 8 CPU cores on the Xbox One(the eighth core is reserved for background system operations). It says the developer just has to disable game specific voice commands, and certain functions of the Kinect camera. Seems this still needs to be optimized a bit, as there could be problems if a user tries to use the general Xbox voice commands("Xbox: Record that," etc.), but the article does say Microsoft will be addressing that in a future update.

So basically, this means that things like weather and night racing for Forza 6 may be easier to implement for Turn 10, once Microsoft updates the SDK's. I guess we will just have to wait to find out though!

The formula of Forza has been the same since Forza 3

Sim Forza every 2 years since Forza 3
Horizon Forza every 2 years since Forza Horizon
Usually announced along with the cover car.
Details usually unveiled up to release
Demo released a month or two before release.

Nice to have some certainties in life no ;)

I will backtrack on the cars, 400 to 500 is more than enough for me, but I certainly hope that the track count is significantly higher, time will tell.

So inspired in this (and also was kinda sleepy) I figured out the following for the GT release:
GT 1 released 1998
GT 2 released 2000 (year of GT 1 + game iteration)
GT 3 released 2001 (year of GT 2 + game iteration / 2 because it is a multiple of 3)
GT 4 released 2005 (year of GT 3 + game iteration)
GT 5 released 2010 (year of GT 4 + game iteration)
GT 6 released 2013 (year of GT 5 + game iteration / 2 because it is a multiple of 3)

With this logic GT 7 should come around 2020

Expect it to release alongside the VGT Nissan Skyline 2020.
