***Forza 6-wish list***

On my previous post I mentioned a "driving school"...
I couldn't agree more. The reason I love Road America so much is because I caught a race on TV and one of the drivers was explaining how he takes certain turns (it was a voiceover on a 1st-person POV of him racing the track). It gave me a whole new respect for the track and I made it a sport to conquer it. It completely changed how I race.

-More cars (returning from Forza 2-4 and ones new to the series)
-More tracks (classics and new ones like)
-Day and night cycle
-Some kind of challenge mode (scenarios or something)
-Reduce the lens flare- it looks cool but sometimes it's impossible to tell what's in front of you
-Return of reward cars for levels or a Horizon 2-esque spin wheel
-More smoke and dirt
-Rallies and Rallycross (only if done properly not something half-assed like in GT5)

RA is one of my fav tracks since the FM3 days. Great collection of bends and straights. Love those first two high-speed right-handers.

I love that downhill section after that...can be very hairy in a quick motor. Great, great course that must return for f6! :D

You're referring to the downhill section that comes right after the two sharp-left handers? *The 2 left handers right after the first 2 right handers!)

RA is a great track not just for honing your driving skills but also testing tunes. I love how you have to be in the right gear and play around with the throttle to keep your tail down during those deep long bends. Brilliant layout! Hope I get to see and drive on it some day. :gtpflag:

How about a feature where you and a friend or group of friends tune a car together both in real time and asynchronously. There could be a little log book where you write what has been done so far and what impressions each of the members got while test driving the car.

This would benefit me tremendously since I am so rubbish at tuning. I only tend to stiffen up the suspension and lower the ride height which doesn't always work.

Maybe F6 will get all the V8 Supercars.

Leading Microsoft gaming brand Xbox is exploring further opportunities in V8 Supercars.

After one-off backing for Marcos Ambrose’s V8 Supercars return as a wildcard entry for the recent Sydney NRMA 500, Xbox is keeping its options open for future sponsorship in the category.

Alan Bowman, Microsoft’s Asian regional vice president for retail sales and marketing, confirmed the deal did not stretch beyond the Sydney event.

“We only committed to do Sydney, but we are keeping our options open,” Bowman said.

DJR Team Penske is expected to rotate through several primary sponsors for its single-car entry next season, mirroring the model more commonly seen in NASCAR and IndyCar.

Long-time Xbox brand ambassador Mark Skaife expects to be central to any future plans the Microsoft-owned gaming giant is cultivating in V8 Supercars.

The DJR wildcard sponsorship came after Xbox funded a wildcard entry for Triple Eight which ran internationals, Andy Priaulx and Mattias Ekstrom at Bathurst last year.

That campaign promoted its then soon-to-be-released Forza 5 console which gained widespread publicity with the car claiming a top 10 finish at Mount Panorama.

“We had such a great success with Bathurst last year,” Bowman said.

“We really connected with our fans and we wanted to make sure we continued on with that.

“Xbox for us is really the home of racing and providing those great experiences. We put Bathurst in the game last year.”

Skaife masterminded the Xbox sponsorship package for the #66 DJR Ford which saw Ambrose have an exploratory run back in V8 Supercars ahead of his full assault for DJR Team Penske from next year.

“At the start it was my idea to talk to John Crennan when I knew the wildcard thing was coming up,” Skaife told Speedcafe.com

“Because I put the wildcard package together for Triple Eight with Priaulx and Ekstrom this was an opportunity that came out of nowhere with Marcos coming back early.

“This is a good way into Christmas with Xbox so I was immediately on the phone to John and that’s how it started which was in August.”

I would like all the cars and tracks from Forza 4 & 5.

I wouldnt be surprised if Mark Skaife makes an appearance in a future V8 Supercars/Supercars game on XBOX or in Forza. Having him voice a tutorial makes sense.

Mentioned it earlier but a Race of Champions style tournament would be an awesome edition to the game.

and not that I'm being greedy or anything but every car currently in Horizon 2 and 5 makes it to 6 as well as Cars from 4 and new ones :P

^^ A thought just came to mind:

For some cars, the rate at which the revs come back down in neutral, isn't entirely accurate. Furthermore, super-tuned cars should have their revs falling back to zero a lot faster than what's depicted in the game. Like a 1000 HP engine for instance.. the revs hardly take a second to fall back to zero.

Another thing is animated gear shifters and paddles. Gran Turismo has them, at least on the cars where the gear shifter is in plain sight. The last thing you want in a high quality game like Forza is the gear shift animation that looks like the driver has a slippery hand.:grumpy:

Hahaha... I've always felt Forza needs to up their animation and data capture methods (for replays).

The paddle shift animations have been a bit of a joke.. the drivers fingers are not even making contact with the paddles and you don't see it moving either. Shame.

Furthermore, some cars have the +/- shifter on the steering wheel... where are the animations for those?

GT's non-stick shift animations are quite good... I like how the driver's hand gets into position as you're about to redline. Brilliant. And they don't look like your driver's trying to scratch an itchy finger or shoo off a fly from the steering wheel...:lol::lol:

It's incredibly delayed though.

You would think the paddles are the easiest thing to animate.

My F6 wish list.

1. Night Day racing
2. Weather
3. Auction House
4. Storefront
5. WAY more cars. Closer to the count in F4.
6. A lot more tracks. Closer to the count in F4.

They should stop doing autovista. It's a waste of time. FM5 launched with 200+ cars because they scrapped the cars that didn't have it. Dumb. This is my same mentality with GT. Don't scrap the cars if you don't need to. They got rid of so many good cars because of it.
I will say the same thing I said about GT6 and GT7. They should not release GT7 or F6 until all the cars are "premium" or fully finished in "Autovista". There are quite a few cars in F5 that are not even finished in Autovista. Some you cant even open the hoods. Clearly the game was rushed for the X1 release date. I don't think they need to scrap the features, they just need to delay the games until they are complete. I am so sick of unfinished games being released. Especially this gen.

Yeah 👍

I say ditch Auto Vista, and use the same disc space for more tracks and cars.. better sounds, physics calculations etc.

For the 10 year anniversary, I think T10 really need to emphasize the Motorsport in Forza Motorsport 6. Besides day/night cycle and dynamic weather which I am positive they will finally include this time around, I want to see an implementation of a realistic championship season including:

races that are minimum of 20 laps (or even time based); pit stops; pace cars; a flag penalty system; qualifying; sponsorships; rolling starts in some cases; etc.

I don't want the typical race after race after race feel that we have had forever. I want it to take a while to finish a season, not rush through 3 lap races just to get it done.
