Perfectly illustrates how frustrating it is for the casual livery creator to make designs too. Why do tiny little strips, such as that patch of green on the rear bumper or the front and rear bumper strips by the bubble exist, just group them with the main bulk of area. Too many cars have odd little patches like that and it becomes such a chore trying to make patterns line up and scale correctly across them.

I'm surprised at how much the Peel Trident's engine can be upgraded, considering it shares the same 50cc engine with the P50. The P50 could only be upgraded to 32HP, while the Trident can be upgraded to upwards of 80HP. It's also super-unstable at that power.

Nicky-poo (AR12Gaming) showcased the 2019 Ford Ranger FX4 XBOX Gamer Lab truck at SEMA recently, and confirmed that this custom truck is coming to Forza Horizon 4 sometime next year. A reminder that this is NOT the 2019 Ford Ranger Raptor that I am talking about.

Since the 2014 McLaren 650S Spider debuted in Forza Horizon 4, many fans were complaining about it having the roof on while driving. Here was what Jon Knoles (JONK1969) had to say on the subject.

Can’t wait for the virtual wind in my hair. Next they need to do turn indicators and make the street lights change instead of being just green all the time.

What is going on with the steering in the new Silverado 1500 Deberti? If you drive forwards slowly and turn from left to right quite quickly you can see the car sliding in one direction while the wheels are still turned in the opposite direction. It's very odd, it seems the wheels turning animates more slowly on this vehicle than on others.

Looks like FH4 won "Sports Game of the Year" at The Game Awards last night.

Insert responses about the car sounds not all being right and the multiplayer needing fixing here.

So, I think the Peel Trident just broke D class. (Excuse the potato quality)

I could have set an even faster lap, but I got a little cocky taking a corner too fast and nearly tipped over, instead spinning into the slushy vegetation on the side of the road.

I think you mean both the Peels in general
I don't think the P50 can cleanly get to D/500.
It's either a D-Class car of lower PI or it jumps straight to B/A thanks to the engine swap and tyres.

Funnily though my club is hosting a race lobby on Monday with this Division of cars (at D/500, stream link below). Looks like I need to try out the trident and build something, though I really want to win races in an unstabilised Reliant :D

I'm talking more so about the fact that you can modify it to a certain point and it'll be significantly faster than any other in its class. You can slap a ton of mods on the P50 before it even breaks out of D400, which I'm assuming is the same for the Trident.

Expansion Pac. $34.95 or was it $39.95. Will this be for "Storm Island" and one other expansion location as it refers to two? Anybody buying this?

Happens with all of the D/100 cars really. Max out on all the handling upgrades and you've still got plenty of space for power parts.

The P50 is absolutely the fastest Drag car in A-Class though, dominates the quarter-mile :D

2 expansions in the Expansion Pack:
  • Fortune Island
  • Expansion 2 (not announced, will come in a few months)

Anyone else think the Deberti and Hoonitruck engine sounds ought to be swapped? For a supercharged LS7, it sure seems to have a V6-ish blat to it...

I always assumed the inability of convertibles to... convert... was engine-related, as well as potentially related to how they create their models. Not surprised that adding that functionality is non-trivial, or that it's fairly low priority for them (considering it has no impact on gameplay).

I mean, I would *like* the ability, but yeah, no skin off my back if they don't feel the need or the desire to add into gameplay. There are more important issues to attend to.

I'd just like the ability to take the top on or off in the garage. Beyond that, real-time animations out in the world to do it would be nice, but hardly a personal priority for me.

Jonk confirmed that the Deberti truck was given a BMW straight-6 sound and will be fixed with the Fortune Island patch.

He's said nothing about the Hoonitruck, so I guess its Ford GT engine is just supposed to sound like a V8...
