Hello just wondering if there are any cruising clubs/groups available. I remember years ago there were a few for Gran Turismo. I have searched a few times on here for one and have had no luck so far just was curious.

Thanks
The Northumberland Off-Road Rebels Club is probably what you're looking for, but we haven't been active in a year.

I'm sure they'll add more things to Eliminator in a future update.

I doubt they will do so anytime soon - right now, the Eliminator may lack in variety, but is supremely well-balanced. 'sides, more cars = more chances to pick a car you have never driven in the Eliminator = more chances to be eliminated because you don't know how to drive that car.

I decided to give Eliminator a try again to see if I would fare better. Final verdict: I should just stay clear. You ever run into nothing but AMG 6x6 drops at three different locations?

I got my best finish ever in the Eliminator last night, eighth, in the Skyline R33.

I would have done better if I hadn't of hit the wall separating Edinburgh from the woods....

I just finished 4th in my second attempt at the Eliminator. :boggled:

Anyway, I'm not yet convinced in terms of fun-appeal, but for the time being I'll keep playing until I unlock the Renault Megane.

Level 23, hopefully ill unlock the Cougar today.

Do you guys think its a good idea to reset the Eliminator levels monthly and add new prizes to it?

That could be a good idea as long as they don't make it a requirement for the playlist or lock more exclusive cars behind it, otherwise they would face a lot of backlash.

No, absolutely not. Myself and im sure many others dont often get a chance to play because of irl commitments. I barely have enought time to scrape by 50% of a season for the reward. To have the eliminator prizes rotate would likely make me quit the game completely. I also wish they would add some other way get the PGG prizes without having to do them, as thats my least favorite minigame, besides eliminator.

Quite frankly, I wish every car was available in the autoshow. I play this game to have fun and drive virtual cars, not to slog through events I dont find fun to have to win a virtual car.

As much as I enjoy playing Eliminator, I don't think new prize cycles are a good idea. I'm sure you mean adding more levels for more rewards, that I think would be okay, but the way you worded your question made me think that you wanted the levels to reset.

What's up with the Forzathon shop? It's indicating that it will update in a little under 13 and a half hours (would be 9:38 AM local time to me) Seems a bit arbitrary. :odd:

I think I would be okay with eliminator prizes rotating if they did away with the rank system for prizes and made it like a participation trophy or something. But if the suggestion was that I would have to slog my way through 20 or so ranks in a month to get a car before it all reset, that would be ridiculous. I barely made it to rank 2 before I got bored with it. Once I get the cougar I’m likely never touching the game mode again. The only reason I’m still playing eliminator is to get the Cougar, and if I can snag one off the AH somehow I’ll probably stop trying to win it.

I'm all ready at max level 25+ in the Eliminator! :D

I've got what I came for "Mercury Cougar Eliminator"

So what's the incentive for me continuing to play this mode, :banghead:

Most of the cars that have been available through doing PGG have either already been available some other way, or will be, so far nothing has been exclusive to PGG.

That's the big question hovering above the entire game. Most people are just playing to chase rewards, but one day there will be none left. At that point FH4 will basically be a vacuum full of cars.

That's the case for pretty much any racing game eventually, isn't it?

Depends on how you look at it, but I think games like Forza Motorsport and Gran Turismo have more of a timeless quality to them. Racing circuits don’t get old to me like open world maps do.

I think it's the simple fact of not having to drive around to find races in a game like FM and GT. Different types of games completely, really and it's to be expected that eventually it'll get stale. I'm definitely a bigger fan of Motorsport, but eventually the same exact thing happens on that game too, for me at least. There's only so long that you can go repeating something constantly.

I can't speak for anyone else, but for me, I keep playing it because I find it immensely fun. Every game of Eliminator is different. Every H2H is different. Every path to the final round is different. Every final dash is different. I don't see myself getting bored with it any time soon.

Speaking of rewards chasing.... there's nothing to chase for this week. What am I going to do? Guess I will waste some more time on BR. Which is not bad.

You’ll get the Alpine sooner if you complete the Summer Festival Playlist.
