I guess I'm stuck paying 200 Cr a teleport until then. Oh well.
Leveling up Danger Signs is super easy though. All you have to do is get at least one star on each spot and it'll unlock more with each level you go up.

I think podium = winning in Horizon?
Not 100% sure though.

The game does distinguish between 1st, 2nd, 3rd and everything below when it comes to post-race rewards. Only event completion gives a gold trophy no matter where players finish in races, but that's not what's being discussed here.

Why not go just ahead and do everything you said you'd do in the championships, play only a certain car or lower PI or what have you. Just because the game doesn't throw you an RNG prize for the effort doesn't mean you can't set your own restrictions.

That would only work if you're always playing on unbeatable difficulty. I'm using expert difficulty and there's currently at least one challenge asking players to finish first on unbeatable. Besides, making up my own challenges would take more self-discipline, time and creative thinking than I'm ready to invest. Getting every community event done every week is already more than enough for me. Besides, there are things players cannot pretend for themselves, such as challenges that would require something like staying above a certain average speed throughout a race. Systems like these are already implemented elsewhere in the game, and I'm sure Playground Games has more than enough bright minds to define a variety of challenges along those lines.

Not more championship challenges on top, but more variety among the challenges already there.

But they'd be challenges on top of winning at whatever difficulty setting?

To be fair, I agree that locking championship completion behind a difficulty gate is not ideal, but it's far better that locking it behind random challenges, like needing to stay above a certain speed, that take the focus away from the actual racing. That's not the solution if you wanted more variety.

The solution would be to not lock championships to specific events in specific seasons with specific cars in the first place.

Let the players decide how they want to have fun instead of forcing them to play a certain way.

I genuinely love this game, but whoever decided to give ranked A) A team-based scoring system, where you lose out if the rest of your team does poorly, and B) Freeroam rush events in playlists with tarmac racing is either a masochist, or has a large number of loose screws.

True, but the extra effort is incomparable to worrying about how to possibly make things more complicated for oneself, which would be synonymous with time-consuming experimentation every step of the way.

I'd say staying above a certain average speed would add something to the racing. It's not nonsensical like "complete three ultimate drafting skills", because that would seem stupid if you take the lead before managing to do so. Skill challenges are perfect for Forzathon, but that's not the kind of stuff I'm getting at in my argument. I have already covered this in a previous post, so let's not run in circles.

I fail to see how that would be a solution to my concerns, but it's fair enough that we have different viewpoints.

I finally tried rivals mode and surprised to find out they're restricting the cars you can use on each track. Kinda a shame since I use to use rivals mode in FH3 to try out cars on the circuits to see how they drive. It was the best way to do it since there would be no traffic. On the bright side, it's kinda neat to be able to have closer competition with people driving similar cars.

Either way, I think rivals mode may become my personal method for racking up some money. At least when doing the circuits. 7 laps around 2 of the road circuits in the game and I earned 40-50k credits easily.

It won't attach because it's not marked on the map as a road.

It's a mile long stretch of smoothed out beach behind the Halo showcase that you wouldn't even see on the map until the drag race icon appears there. You have to drive the whole length of it in freeroam because the drag race event only goes up 1/4 mile of it. You'll notice there's no dotted line like the beach trails below, but it still counts because once I went up the entire length of it, the game popped up the roads driven notification with the final road I was missing.
I understand where it is.

I don't agree it's an official road.
I discovered 10 roads running that race. I'd say it's far more likely you covered your last missed section during the race, because I've never seen any evidence in any Horizon game that anything unmarked counts as a road.

You're free to believe what you like, but I stand by my statement. All roads are defined by either white or orange dashed and solid lines, which are grayed out before you drive them.

That drag strip has no markings or color, so I'd have to see full video proof to believe otherwise. (Which would be a real pain to make)

Um, I got the achievement for finding all of the roads, but the game says I didn't found all of the roads yet. It says I have 529/531 roads traveled.

Never mind got all three stars for the event. I kept hitting stuff on the roundabout I think which I believe was slowing me down I got a 1:18.9 for the time.

To get the achievment you only have to have driven on part of each road, but that stat only counts roads you've driven the full length of.

So on the motorway for example, if you joined the motoray half way through and then came off the next exit, that would count towards the achievment, but it would only recognise it in the stats if you drove it from end to end.

Super wheelspin glitch still hasn't been patched.
It's DRM related and it's the kind of thing you usualy don't fix easily because a quick solution is likely to open door to further problems, hence requires serious testing.

I had the same thing happen to me as well then I eventually found small strip of a dirt road I didn't properly drive in.
