Friendly reminder that people shouldn’t abuse glitches to gain CR/Wheelspins. Players will get banned for it, as Turn 10 and Playground can track everything you do.

Good thing I'm not doing that, I'm just using my skill points to buy the influence points on every car I win. :D
I'll eventually run out of cars to do this with, but for now; it's a good method to get some wheelspins.

EDIT: I also just now decided to do circuit races with 10-20 laps on them to earn money that way, similar to how I just did long races in FM7 for money. Either that or do rivals mode.

Still haven’t changed my character’ outfit I’m probably gonna make him suffer in winter with just a t shirt and jeans. Only thing I did change was the emote to the dab.

I changed my character to the pink haired girl, and now her autumn boots match her hair. I may have thought about this more than I thought about most of my car paintjobs. :dopey:

Which is the only emote in the game that matters, lets be real here
I did a lot of Team Adventure lately and maybe saw one player using Dab emote. On the other hand I see a lot of Shamone emote (my favorite too). It's so cool to see two or three avatars dancing sincrone at the end of the Adventure.
Ehm, now that I've unlocked the Chicken Dance emote I'm using that one with the Chicken suit. :)

I might be the only one playing this game that has my character dressed with the default outfit with no "emote" whatsoever.

I also turn the radio off completely (not that the music is bad, just prefer my car's exhaust music), the HUD is turned off and I just enjoy my cars and some nice UK roads.

There’s another thing you can use those skill points for and this isn’t a glitch imo, just playing the market. ;)

Plus it’s been mentioned here before IIRC.

Step one: Buy either a Classic Nissan Fairlady Z or the 1982 Porsche 911 for 150k from the Autoshow.

Step two: Have around 20 skill points to buy the cash bonus perk on them which is 300k.

Step three: Either auction them off for cheap or just remove them if you don’t want that on your conscious. :P

You still have to put the work in for the skill points and it’s only 150k profit per car, but it doesn’t involve any kind of glitch, include it into your routine every time you get 20 or so skill points and just grab another 911 or Fairlady when possible.

Acutally, I already cashed in 300k from the Porsche 930 Turbo you mentioned. I got it in a wheelspin for free. :P
Though the Fairlady Z, I haven't done that yet. I think I might have that aswell. I'll go check later, I'm taking a break from FH4 to do some school work.

Maybe they should fix the game and leave their customers alone? Hard to believe.

Also takes all the fun out of the game, i like having to work for my rewards otherwise whats the point

Indeed. Cheats and glitches ruin the fun faster than anything really.

What insight do you have to show they aren't? Please, do share.

I honestly don't. I will never auction a car from which I've farmed the perks. That's a massive dick move. I just remove them from my garage. The good news is there isn't a limit on how many Fairlady Z 432s or 911 3.3 Turbos are in the game. Head to your local Nissan or Porsche dealer and they'll make a new one to order.

Using this method has made me a lot of money. I bought Bamburgh Castle on Thursday which left me flat broke. Now I have M7.8 credits in less than 5 days. I more than halfway to getting Edinburgh Castle. And I didn't use any glitches or cheats or auction off a perkless car.

This is like those spam adverts you see at the bottom of internet comments.

I intend to leave the perks intact on my FD cars in case I need to auction them and to buy Fairladys and 911 3.3's like an honest person.

I didn't say they aren't going to fix the game. I was suggesting they will probably fix the glitch before instigating bans, which in this case would be extreme and uncalled for.

Really didn't come across like that at all  Fixing the glitch alleviates the need for banning, because its already after the fact. If there are people intentionally skewing the economy even after all the banning that have been happening in the past iterations, then you can't really act like it's uncalled for.

Only thing I'm wondering is how do they determine who does it intentionally or not.

Didn't the "hard to believe" part imply I was casting doubt over the possibility that bans might happen because of this particular glitch?
No because insisting that "they should leave their customers alone" painted a completely different tone than what you're saying you meant. The whole sentence painted a completely different tone than you're backup reply, to be honest.

It's no different than someone intentionally, and constantly, using map glitches on online shooters to perform feats on an online game that shouldn't be possible at all, all the while giving an unfair advantage, especially to a game that has an impact farther than just a single player aspect. While this game offers freedom with most things, this in turns affects more than just yourself. Banning may be extreme to some, but like I said, it's not unheard of for gaming in general.

Maybe the should roll back every single persons credits to before the glitch was first found. That sounds like a better idea, huh?

For me it was the natural question to ask following @PJTierney's warning to everyone. He's the one who came across as someone with insights to share.

Anyway, we're not contributing to the FH4 discussion right now.

I think it just needs to fixed as soon as possible and then move on.

Wait a minute, you can keep buying the same perks over again for the same car? I thought that once you did that for one car, any duplicate would have the same effect.

It's really not unknown information that's being shared. You seemed more one-sided than neutral, in my opinion but hey, you said you didn't mean that so I'll stop there. I'm pointing out that it really didn't look that way, nor is this some kind of new thing that has never happened in the history of gaming.

However, they've never jumped to such extremes that quick before, so that was just a warning that people have been banned in the past for extreme exploits. Essentially just to be careful with abusing something that has the potential to affect far more than your personal game.
