Wait a minute, you can keep buying the same perks over again for the same car? I thought that once you did that for one car, any duplicate would have the same effect.
Perks are bound to a car to the point that they come with cars at the Auctions, but you don't know what perks are unlocked until you bought the car...

Changing subject, did someone else noticed this little detail during Skill Songs?

Also, today i noticed that when i was in a Skill Song and in pause menu while it end, the last part (42 seconds) was starting again. I looped into it for a while... I didn't tried it again.

So, some of you may know that I was fortunate enough to be given early access to Forza Horizon 4 (a "review copy", essentially).

The reason being that Xbox DACH (German language version of Xbox) liked my livery work in previous games and wanted to see if I could put something together to celebrate the launch of Forza Horizon 4.

I made this:

Xbox were doing a promotional activity where clues were given on social media and 3 people could locate a real-life barn find, and get to own a Union-Flagged Mini Cooper for a year. I was asked to put together the in-game version, footage of which you can find in this video (from 02.00 onwards):

:)

Maybe I'm stating the obvious now, but emphasis is on both road and sprint. Make sure you're winning blue (road) point to point (sprint) races.

I would post a smart:censored: response, but with the way some of these challenges have been worded I can't blame you for stating the obvious.

Speaking of that, there must be some other restriction as I reverted my car to stock and did a whole field of NSX-R's and it worked.

Yes, some of the challenge descriptions could be a little more clear. I remember completing the challenge with modifications installed. Odd, but at least you made it work.

I've been meaning to do the street races in the most British way possible, but alas there's no Burberry tracksuit nor a suitable Mg Metro/Vauxhall Nova or Corsa.

Shame.

Anyone else find drift club easy? I got that done in a hour with all three stars for each one.

Very easy, you get plenty of time and as long as you can keep a drift chain going, you'll get the required amount of points with a lot of time to spare.

The NSX Challenge could be a bit clearer and/or is bugged.

I bought the NSX left it stock. Tried to get it above 175mph, wasn't happening...

So I upgraded it and it now it goes well above 175mph but didn't register that I had completed the challenge??

If we were meant to keep the car stock IT SHOULD SAY SO

I confirm that a tuned NSX works.

I’ve always been tempted to try it, but my fear is that the game will crash on lap 49. :scared:
I wouldn't argue with that: a hundred meters from the finish line of a 5 lap races of Goliath on FH3, i had the bad idea to take a photo on the beach, and that's when my game crashed.

Just bought a LaFerrari and Christ, what did they do to it? It doesn't even sound like a V12 anymore. :( I'm starting to take issue with FH4's engine sound.

Right, you're not the only one. There's a 14 page or something thread on the official forza.net forum. It's the same issues all over again from FM7. I would be extremely disappointed to know that PG tested their game on TV speakers before releasing it.

This is the price we pay for 4K and lots of cars. The next few weeks would be interesting - maybe they'll address the issues, maybe they won't. I personally can't tolerate the game for more than an hour cos' I have my sound system turned up all the way to 75% just to hear and feel what my car is doing - the other menu and announcer sounds are so loud they make my teeth rattle.

I got a clear run up the motorway towards Edinburgh and beat 175mph with the stock car, but got lucky as there was little traffic in the way. I tried going South but couldn't get it up to speed going that way.

Turn 10 Studios are aware of the sound issues. They told their fans in both the livestream chats and the Forza Forums.

It doesn't have to be a stock car, mine was heavily upgraded when I completed the challenge.

Nothing we can do about the car samples for now but if I were in that position I'd consider adjusting the sound balance so that the DJs and menu sounds were quieter than the car and tyre noises. Hopefully this isn't another feature (like button mapping) that's only available on PC, because that would suck for Xbox owners.

Now that trucks have made their way into Forza, I wonder if or when we’ll see a Monster Truck make it’s appearance. Although there would be some tricky stuff to do with its size, I can definitely see them adding one.

Imagine bashing around in Grave Digger?!

I must admit that would be fun

I think we're going to need some more big ramps in towns and villages. Maybe make it a prize for Danger Sign endgame.

Anyone read or hear about the 50 lap glitch at goliath?
Sadly yes. And I don't know what is going on with the community anymore. I was trying to do some PVP races today and nobody seem to care if I make the race. On the other hand every single time i see a PVP request it's the 50 laps Goliath. Is this the new age of playing racing games? I don't get it... maybe I am too old for this.

Kids. And their sense of entitlement, must have everything now attitude. Heaven forbid they actually have to work for anything...:banghead:

The game perfectly suits that younger demographic, though. For better or worse.

A lot of the things in the game go over my head, guess I am too old for the game. I just want to drive, with none of the other gimmicks.
