I turned on the game last night and I got a message that this week's car pass cars were available (the Porsche 959 and 356) now in the store. They aren't available until Friday, though. Same thing happened last week with the RX7 and the Sentra. Getting my hopes up!

Patch did not clear my server issues, though, I still get a message forcing me to play offline each time I play.

Yeah both last week and this week I have gotten ‘Available now’ screen when I started the game.

I might be the only one playing this game that has my character dressed with the default outfit with no "emote" whatsoever.

I also turn the radio off completely (not that the music is bad, just prefer my car's exhaust music), the HUD is turned off and I just enjoy my cars and some nice UK roads.

Wish we could turn off the HUD while driving, like pressing left on the D-pad as with Driveclub. Turn it off when you need some break from the HUD, and back on instantly when you're lost or something.

My the only one that kind of wishes we could turn off the stunt stuff like the drift zones? Sometimes I just like to take a cruise obeying all the traffic laws. The immersion sort of gets ruined when all of the civilians around you become transparent and the game wants you to DRIIIIIIFT....in a stock Morris Minor.

Oh my gosh, how good does the 1983 GTI sound! Finding so much joy in the lower power cars.

If anyone wants a sweet drive, get a Clio 200 (the proper one, not that sad excuse that followed it) give it the first track width increase front and rear, put race suspension on and drop the rear ride height to minimum and 2.5 negative camber. Finish off with the race intake manifold for modest power gains and enjoy. Such a peach and the stance is sick.

Does anyone know how to get the Bonus Board near the Moorhead Wind Farm beauty spot? It’s my final and it’s got me buggered.

Edit: I got it lol, just minutes after I posted this, hooray.

Has anyone ever done a Team Adventure where it picks D/C/B Class at all? So far the lowest it seems to pick is A Class. I was looking forward to doing some lower class racing since it seems you cant really get away with missile builds like in FH3 but I haven't even had a chance to online yet.

Nope. So far, all I've gotten is S1 and S2 adventures.

What it does when you are roaming is that a little cut scene takes place, not unlike the prologue, and the season changes. There is also a timer telling you to go to freeroam to activate the season change.

The jobs are getting frustrating. I have no idea what the difference between getting 2 stars and 3 stars is.
It is a simple advice on Job/Horizon Stories.
  • World's Fastest Rental : There is no need to turn roundabout. And in some challenges traffic position is important.
  • Stuntman : This game is not "Stuntman series". Let's ignore their instructions. Jump is not necessary.
  • LaRacer@Horizon : You don't need to go through the checkpoint. Let's actively use shortcuts. In her challenge it is required to ignore the rule.
  • Drift Club : The speed is related to the score of drift in this game. It is necessary to use a technique called "Manji" to constantly high speed swaying the car.

I manji literally non stop when doing drift club events

I've notice an evolution in my use of fast travel in Horizon. In the first game, I used it maybe twice, and I felt guilty each time. After all, if you use fast travel, do you even like driving? In 2 I used it a bit more. The map was bigger and sometimes I just wanted to get to the thing that was on the other side of the map so I could do the thing that was on the other side of the map. I used it a lot more in 3. I want to go to the Outback now, not in five minutes when I get there. Now in 4, I fast travel everywhere. Forzathon Live? Fast travel. Road race in Edinburgh? Fast Travel. Nearest house to work on my car? FAST TRAVEL. Across the street? FAST TRAVEL.
