I hope this isn't some kind of bug that only affects Xbones. Fingers crossed it'll get fixed in the next upgrade.
I’ve redone all the events I did last night, and maybe I’m imagining it, but it seems like I’m getting exactly the same wheelspin prizes as last night, too. I got the Meyers Manx FE last night, I got it again today. (And yes, the Manx FE I won last night was gone from my garage this morning. And the AMG One I got for hitting the seasonal points target.) I would normally just chalk that up to coincidence, but there were several other duplicates as well. Enough that random chance doesn’t seem likely.

Oh hey. I appear to have earned exactly 0% and yet I’ve been awarded this accolade.

And finally, just a curiosity. Why is the logo for Horizon XS not available from the “Apply a Brand Logo” screen? You can get Pulse, Bass Arena, Block Party, even Radio Eterna. But not XS. It was the same in FH4. Other people have made Horizon XS layer groups and shared them, but if you use them, you can’t share your design. It’s obviously not a game breaker. It’s just a surprising omission.

Looks like we've got another video composed of FH5-styled thumbnails for a lot of FH4 cars and more new-to-Forza cars:

Interesting finds here include:
  • 1962 Lincoln Continental
  • 2006 Ford GTX1
  • 1964 Porsche 904 Carrera GTS
  • 1985 Nissan Safari Turbo

The OP claims that some guy in one of the Discord servers he is in sent these thumbnails from the FH5 files.

Was already posted earlier in the thread for the most part. I'd forgotten to include the Lincoln and GTX1 but the rest are potentially just FH4/FM7 files that the devs still have on their working branch.

Okay, there's the XJ220S. I'm happy to see that one of those cars is the older Lotus Esprit that was added in FH4 in the 007 pack, can't wait to have that back. There's some goodies shown there, the return of the FTO GP Version R, that Subaru WRX Rally Car, the Aventador SVJ, Ford GTX-1, that 911 Sport Classic, the return of the Del Sol, Jaguar XJ13, and was that a Schuppan 962?!

The only car I care about is the Aventador SVJ.

I completed my first Horizon Tour, got a 1-1-2 finish and a compliment from my teammate on driving well and not ramming anyone. Not bad for my first online race (not counting the five seconds I took part on The Trial, drove into a wall and everybody else said "Nice driving").

For some weird reason completing the Tour unlocked that Rally Fighter I was griping about earlier. Of course 10 minutes later I picked one up from a wheelspin.

I also entered a couple of Horizon Arcade events but nobody was around to help me smash piñatas.

After someone here said buying cheap cars keeps them off the wheel (to a point) I started going from A-Z buying anything under 50k and not using wheelspins until I'm done. I started off annoyed that it shows loads of liveries and the original paint options are hidden, but by the time I got to an Audi RS2 Avant with a Jurassic Park livery I was loving picking interesting designs for each car. Was having way more fun buying cars than expected. Police liveries for various countries police cars, Little Tikes red and yellow buggy design for the Isetta etc. Loads of people being creative out there already, any car you name it theres usually something to suit your taste.

Also having fun doing playground games, flag rush, king, zombies etc. So much satisfaction denying someone a flag with a perfect swipe before the scoring zone. This game is just fun. Unless trains are involved. They have no place in car games ;)

I didn't try (get) the Firebird FE yet, but my all-around car (it suits to almost every outdoor event) is so far also my best skill-car:
Not FE, but see that Skill Tree?

Edit: that preview pulled by GTP from K' after i just pasted the car URL is so neat :gtplanet:

I feel this game has heavily favoured Hoonigan cars... and that x10 multiplier is unheard of if I'm not mistaken...

Anyone else see a glitch where it showed 2 of the same car on a super wheelspin?(in this case 2 Chevy Colorado's) but then in car collection one of them showed as a Dodge Durango..

Since Arcade is still broken for me, I spent the afternoon grinding skill points so I cold grind money so I could grind FP. I got enough so I could get the GRC Honda in the shop.

Despite my grumbling, I’m absolutely loving this game. If it looks this good on my XBox One and 1080p tv, then I can’t wait for the day I can finally move up to Series X and a 4K tv.

The Subaru WRX rallycross car seems to be an unmarked model, but I'm sure they will use the #41 livery used by Scott Speed in the 2019 Rallycross Americas league (as that is the most well-known version of it).

x8 Multiplier, "10 p" is for its cost.
But i didn't see another x8 for this perk yet (K' covers 28,7% of all Mastery Grids so far)
BTW, the variety of perks tree is higher than it is in Forza 4 (61 grids for all cars Vs 80 an counting)

It has the OEM restyling nose kit (hood, front fascia) applied, nothing more, already available as an optional upgrade since the car was introduced back in FH2. One of the few cars that change their appearance that much with alternate parts though.
Ah, thanks for the clarification!

So there is a Hope to see FCA cars in game?
I miss them.

dirtydog; yeah it`s worse than ever

Me I`ll start saving for a Volvo Amazon 123GT. Though my saving might be invain, just lost another 4mills
+all achievements after a game-reload. Poor, poor pityful me:nervous:

I don't know why some people with a chip on their shoulder keep posting as if the game's unplayable when most of us know that's a blatant lie. Haha...

Anyway, I'm not sure if anyone's posted this information before but here are all five cars you can get from mastery slots and how to get them.

Game Rant
There are five cars to buy in Forza Horizon 5 that unlock other vehicles in their Car Mastery Skill Trees. The following lists all five of them and what vehicle they are unlockable from:
  • 2013 DeBerti Wrangler Unlimited which is unlockable from the 2012 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon.
  • 1969 Dodge Charger Daytona Hemi which is unlockable from the 1969 Dodge Charger R/T.
  • 1992 Hoonigan Mazda RX-7 Twerkstallion which is unlockable from the 1990 Mazda Savanna RX-7.
  • 1991 Hoonigan Porsche 911 Turbo RWB which is unlockable from the 1995 Porsche 911 GT2.
  • 1999 Lamborghini Diablo GTR which is unlockable from the 1997 Lamborghini Diablo SV.
How to Get the 2012 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon
The 2012 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon can be bought from Autoshow for 50,000 Credits in Forza Horizon 5, or it can be won from any type of Wheelspin.

How to Get the 1969 Dodge Charger R/T
The 1969 Dodge Charger R/T can be bought from the Autoshow for 103,000 Credits, won in any type of Wheelspin, or obtained by completing the "Long Gone" Accolade.

How to Get the 1990 Mazda Savanna RX-7
The 1990 Mazda Savanna RX-7 can be obtained from any type of Wheelspin in Forza Horizon 5, or from completing the "Three of a Kind" Accolade.

How to Get the 1995 Porsche 911 GT2
The 1995 Porsche 911 GT2 can be bought from the Autoshow for 550,000 Credits, or won from any type of Wheelspin.

How to Get the 1997 Lamborghini Diablo SV
The 1997 Lamborghini Diablo SV can be bought from the Autoshow for 174,000 Credits or won from any type of Wheelspin.

To get the necessary Skill Points to unlock the hidden Car Mastery vehicles, players need to build up skill chains by performing acts like drifting, breaking objects, and performing small jumps. Repeating Drift Zones in Forza Horizon 5 is a good way of building a lot of Skill Points quickly.
