Drivatars always mirror the players. If 6 players show up in that B-class Ferrari, then you will have a nice B-class race going on.
Yeah I noticed that before when doing the Tour. No, the strange thing was a multi class race. Never had this kind of race in any Horizon. Or I don't remember it.

Really. Then a certain "robot" on this forum must be the dirtiest player in the game, his drivatar always rams me, and seemingly have nitrous fitted at times.

Anyway, bearing this in mind, what has @UKMikey been doing at race starts in order that his Drivatar has learned this?
To be honest, I normally go into photo mode at the start of a race to snap the cars with cameras floating above them so I guess the game is picking up on that. It doesn't slow the car down to 0mph though so... shenanigans.

I never could get that Exhibition daily challenge to pop, but I had one story I hadn’t done yet, so at least that one registered.
I'm glad I didn't rush through the stories. I just had time to bash through the next chapter of El Campeón before the dry season started.

"You" reversed full pelt

I nearly couldn't breathe for laughing, especially when the others turned into the world's crappest display team halfway down the slope. Had to pause it for a few.

I don't think I've ever driven that model of car. Maybe my drivatar got confused as to where the pedals were? 🤷🏽‍♂️🤦🏽‍♂️

Talking of bugs it looks like some radio station names are timeless eternal...

Oh man, there's SO many issues with the copy text in the game. There's events and accolades with mis-spelled titles and descriptions, the subtitling is frequently either missing words, including extra words, mis-spelling words, acting like <words are in Spanish> when they aren't (and not doing it when they are), and sometimes completely the wrong subtitles entirely. I had the Apex completion VO over the Baja completion subtitles (the VO was right) and vice versa, and the Wilds completion VO over the Rush subtitles (again the VO was right) and vice versa...

(about five seconds later I passed every other Drivatar as they were all spearing across the course or backwards after landing the jump)

My guess on that start line shenanigans is that the AI gets confused by some small rocks in front of its grid slot, so tries to back up to go round or at least get some momentum to push them out of the way. I've had the same experience in that race!

Only 8 more cars to go for me to get the complete collection:
View attachment 1095771

And that’s actually pretty easy to do:
  • play 15 more eliminator games or buy from autoshow (Veyron)
  • play 11 more arcade games or buy from autoshow (Evija)
  • wait for tomorrow (Gordini & Zerouno)
  • wait for next Thursday (Cyclone, Tachyon, 330 P4 & LaFerrari)
This didn’t age too well, I won the #24 Ferrari Spa 330 P4 from a wheelspin today 😅 and instead of waiting for 20/20 eliminator and arcade, I decided to buy the Veyron and Evija from the autoshow (got nothing else to do with over 6 mill credits anyway). So, only 2 cars missing from my garage but there is no other option for those than to wait a week: the Tachyon Speed (festival) and the Cyclone Spoiler (car pass).

Ah, simultaneously closed out the Winter reward cars AND the Series 1 cars. McLaren F1 is all mine!

Still can't do that Story though. Test Driver: Horizon Apex Coast to Coast, chapter three of Test Driver. I've switched to Horizon Solo mode and still there's zero traffic, so even getting one Near Miss is impossible, never mind 30.

Looks like they patched the skill perks being resetted when you buy a car from the auction house. Just bought two cars and they both had their money/xp bonuses and wheelspins already taken 😑

I truly love how FH games never explain a damn thing.

Two of this week's Festival Playlist events feature literally non-existent car classes. You can't search or filter for them, they're just "cars we say are x".

Does anyone know how PG defines "Reasonably Priced Cars" and "Collector's Series"? The latter seems to be a certain subset of Legendary cars, but otherwise I have no clue.
You've likely already beat it, but for anyone else, here's a list from Reddit on the cars that meet "Reasonably Priced".

I thought that's been a thing for a while, and they only reset on cars gifted. I bought a Cayman a while back to complete an auction house challenge and it had part of its skills already claimed.

Speaking of which, I wonder if the gift feature is wonky right now. I've gifted a few cars, and only 1 has been claimed. I was also told I had a gift waiting for me, so I drove out to the barn with it, and then... nothing.

I really hate Drivatars in this game so much.

Yesterday, i won an 50-Lap X-Class race at Playa Azul Circuit on dry weather conditions against Expert Drivatars with a Sesto FE, fitted with racing slicks, no aero and Turbocharged Race V12.

No matter how well i raced, there were two hypercars that would always catch up with me. These cars were a Chiron and a Evija, two heavy cars outmatched by the Sesto FE's superior handling and power-to-weight ratio.

My fastest lap in that race was 00:45.413, while Chiron and Evija's best laps were 00:45:847 and 00:45:814 respectively.

After the race, i decided to tune my Evija for X-Class, fitting it with full aero and racing slicks, then proceeded to do a quick test drive in the same track, once again on dry weather conditions. My best lap was 00:51:787.

What the heck PG were thinking about making Drivatars cheat as much as they please, it shocks me to no end.

There was a recent, funny video on the Forza reddit showcasing the Drivatars disregard for physics, as they raced Reliant Robins at speeds on a dirt track, going through a corner that should've forced them to tip.

If that’s true then that sucks. I gifted a Ferrari F50GT to a random new player :/ Hopefully they get it.

I can 100% confirm it's the rocks on the left side of the track there. The AI freaks out about that regardless of who it is or what car they're in.

This disregard for physics was made obvious to me in the Cross Country and Dirt races. I had to repeat a few of them with dirty tactics to win because the AI had soo much more grip than I did.

Wait what?

The description doesn't convey that at all. I mean, I shouldn't be surprised at this point, but... wow.

Edit: Nope. I just took a photo of the 992 I was driving on its own right after getting my ninth Speed Trap star, and got the Timeless Looks stage completed...
It took the 6 pictures to finally register there was a 992 in there... I love this franchise but this game, sometimes it's SMS level broken.

Same thing happened to me yesterday. I thought I went to the wrong barn, but it turns out it just ''vanished'' ...
From my own experience, if you don’t immediately click on the X on your screen when you have the gift messsage pop up and let the game draw the barn location for you and then immediately go collect it, then your barn gift might be gone.

I've even had them disappear in the minute or so it takes to get there. I tend to believe the theory that the gift alert goes out to many players at once, and the fastest wins.

Core problem is 12 cars on track and CPU of Xbox One(basically netbook CPU even by 2013 standards).

Aah that’s possible because I always use fast travel. 😄

If anyone needs a tune for the seasonal speed zone at the pyramid of the moon, I made a quick downforce/grip tune for the Porsche 918 Spyder. Share code = 780 501 380. Super easy with that one, I even got a new PB for the speed zone on my first try. ☺️
