Especially since the game debut was the same weekend as the F1 race in Mexico.Well that's cool as all 🤬.
I'm surprised he wasn't involved with the game more.

What are you doing? So the Horizon Open Weekly Challenge is “Eliminate 2 opponents in a single session of The Eliminator.“ I just spent three hours in The Eliminator. I eliminated exactly one car.
Mine is reading the main menu but that's it.Checked the settings and nothing has changed, but it seems "System Default" for "Screen Reader" now means it reads everything out loud.
I just turned the Screen Reader setting to "off".Mine is reading the main menu but that's it.
Did you fix it in the end?
IIRC, influencers only had access to a slice roughly equivalent to the first hour of gameplay. It's entirely possible that they didn't have access to Accolades.I just turned the Screen Reader setting to "off".
Just tried another Eliminator, after no issues yesterday. Couldn't see anyone else at all, 24 drivers remaining in the smallest possible area but no cars on screen or on minimap. Got challenged and eliminated by a Lv9 car I couldn't even see.
Also discovered more non-functional Accolades. They had this out to influencers over two months before launch and none of this was picked up...
When I started with the review build, Don Joewon Song already had 400k Accolade points...IIRC, influencers only had access to a slice roughly equivalent to the first hour of gameplay. It's entirely possible that they didn't have access to Accolades.
I had this issue once. Also, the whole map (with the area limit) wasn't visible at all. This is on the official bug list, so PG will probably fix it at the next patch.Just tried another Eliminator, after no issues yesterday. Don't know about influencers but special players and staff (those that have PG logo at the end of the nik) had access to final game a week earlier than Premium owners. Saw DJS playing the game days before us. And his Achievements also start a week before mine.IIRC, influencers only had access to a slice roughly equivalent to the first hour of gameplay. I can normally tell which races I've already done in a seasonal championship, because they turn back to red and the ones I have yet to do are white. This has been the same since at least FH4.Be aware, just made a very easy mistake. In Reasonably Priced Cars did Mangrove Scramble, then did the River race, and struggled to find the third race on the map. Since the race I just did wasn't showing and Mangrove Scramble was, and I have a condition that affects my short term memory I thought I hadn't done Mangrove Scramble and went back. Used to hitting the button to enter the competion I instead clicked the auto selected "YES" to a message about "losing progress" instead (pretty sure it was auto selected, but I was moving fast just trying to get through). I then quit not wanting to actually enter the race and over write my previous victory, only to find it wiped both wins in the championship!
Thanks! I'm still getting used to Forza being a long time Sony guy.I can normally tell which races I've already done in a seasonal championship, because they turn back to red and the ones I have yet to do are white. This has been the same since at least FH4.
Yeah, I could say that about a lot of things in this game! It's a shame they didn't make this a bit more explicit and not hidden away though.
It wouldn't be so bad if people would realize that bringing their undriveable X class cars is essentially handing the AI an easy win, especially since the AI cars are ordered from highest PI to lowest at the start. But unfortunately drilling the concept of "more horsepower =/= better car" into most folks' skulls isn't exactly a doable thing.Tried a few times at the Dino team race all of my teams were trash and either didn’t finish the race or just left.
I use a X class FXX K and the AI is going to AI (like I said previously, I watched one of them boost right past me doing what must have been 350+ mph) my problem is the teammates. Learn to use the thing you're driving and stop ramming into, cutting off, and using your teammates as springboards. It wouldn't be so bad if people would realize that bringing their undriveable X class cars is essentially handing the AI an easy win, especially since the AI cars are ordered from highest PI to lowest at the start. I used a X class R390 that was pretty good but none of the teammates used them or they had S2 class cars instead of X class ones.It wouldn't be so bad if people would realize that bringing their undriveable X class cars is essentially handing the AI an easy win, especially since the AI cars are ordered from highest PI to lowest at the start. Losing, mostly. I was having the most extraordinary bad luck ramming into trees, ramming into rocks, ramming in to buildings, ramming into trees on rocks inside buildings… The other problem was that I couldn’t challenge a driver half the time. I’d come up on someone, “press ®️ to challenge” would pop up over their car, I’d press ®️, and nothing would happen except “press ®️ to challenge” would disappear over their car. We’d just be sitting there, impotently honking our horns at each other until we drove off in separate directions. What are you doing?
I had a rough time with the Trial, too. It took me seven or eight tries before I found a team that actually knew how to drive. Interestingly, all six players were using female avatars. I don’t know if that means they were actually women, or just so devoid of toxic masculinity that they were comfortable with a woman representing them in the game. Either way, they all knew what a brake pedal was, and more importantly, when and where to use it.Tried a few times at the Dino team race all of my teams were trash and either didn’t finish the race or just left.
I want that E-Type.I’m just happy I scored the Dino in a wheel spin last week as it's one of my favorite cars and want nothing to do with the Trial.
