Speaking of photos not registering, is there a trick to getting a photo to register during the Forza Arcade mini-missions thing? I've never had it work and always end up just waiting for it to time out.

For those struggling with the photo challenge I took mine during one of the street race championship events, we all know that a lot of the street races take place at night so I took a pic of my Honda Civic Type R during one of the races (cant remember which) and it registered.

It took the 6 pictures to finally register there was a 992 in there... I love this franchise but this game, sometimes it's SMS level broken.
I have no idea how to get it to register. I’ve taken at least 20 photos of my 2019 Porsche 911 Carrera S and it has yet to register. I’ve tried photographing it by pressing up on the D-pad. I’ve tried photographing it from the photo mode in the pause menu. I’ve tried photographing it using the right button quick shot. I’ve tried photographing it by pressing the A button and saving it. I’ve tried photographing it by itself. I’ve tried photographing it with another car. I’ve tried photographing it after photographing another car first. Nothing works.

I did a Blueprint like suggested by @Milouse and it worked.

Following your message, i republished my blueprint: try it an take all those cars at once after the start :D
Tell us if it works.

Edit: it's at the main (original) Festival drag race "Festival Drag Strip". Code 182 104 952

I tried a blueprint of my own but it didn’t work. This one did, so thank you.

Hi. I got the night photo to register, but I had to try a couple times. Maybe it wasn't night enough at first.

Evidently the game likes AWD better than FWD with rally tires for the dirt races. I tried The Real Deal with a CRX/dirt tires and didn't get close. Tried again with a stock Eclipse and won easily. Used a Celica GT-4 for the next race which was even easier.

Did Midnight Battle with the 2018 Civic R. Almost too easy.

Used the eligible Lamborghini I had for No Expense. It was okay.

Domination mode was different and fun. I used the Focus RS.

Haven't managed the speed trap this week and didn't last week, either.

Every time with these new seasons, I go to do a danger sign or a speed trap and it’s the same thing every time I try it for the first try. Either “1 more mph for seasonal objective” on the speed traps or “1 more foot for seasonal objective” on the danger signs, no matter how much I am beating the targets by.

Reading everyone's difficulty with getting a nighttime photo made me realize how odd my situation was...

I went to a Horizon Festival to buy the 2019 Porsche for the weekly Forzathon since I didn't already have one. Then I took a quick photo for the whole "Promo" thing.

Little did I know it was night outside and I got credit for the photo challenge! At the Festival, you're inside a building so you can't see that it's night, PLUS it was daylight when I arrived at the Festival!!!

Really strange...

Go back to festival (via the menu to buy a new car, it's always free), and leave it with the required car (you don't need to switch if you have it before retuning).

You can also switch to a vastly more capable, ineligible car, blast through the trap/jump, then return to your original eligible car and it should trigger if you then beat the seasonal objective again.

Be aware, just made a very easy mistake. In Reasonably Priced Cars did Mangrove Scramble, then did the River race, and struggled to find the third race on the map. Since the race I just did wasn't showing and Mangrove Scramble was, and I have a condition that affects my short term memory I thought I hadn't done Mangrove Scramble and went back. Used to hitting the button to enter the competion I instead clicked the auto selected "YES" to a message about "losing progress" instead (pretty sure it was auto selected, but I was moving fast just trying to get through). I then quit not wanting to actually enter the race and over write my previous victory, only to find it wiped both wins in the championship!

Despite the strides taken in making the gameplay more accessible they appear to have ignored the UI. To begin with the menus were overwhelming, the different layouts depending on where you are, multiple tabs and sub menus on each, duplication of some but not other features...it's a mess. And as soon as I think I know what to expect and can start using muscle memory, it throws a wipeout box at me.

Sure, it's not a huge loss and I am enjoying the game but...yeah, beware of accidentally going back to a race you've already done especially if it was tricky. This game is like one of my ex's, it gets away with so much because it's fun!

I'm so 🤬 tired of this busted ass AI. I passed an unbeatable drivatar during the trial and I literally watched (and listened) to the AI boost so hard it must have passed while doing 350+.

I've never, in all my days, played a racing that punishes you for playing fairly. I full on Alt-F4'd out of the game because I hit a barrier and my car seemingly rotated on an imaginary axis because of it. I can't take much more of this. At all.

Just won an easy 3m credits selling my Trueno on the auction house. Set it for 6hr and 2m starting bid, and was bought not 30 seconds later. 🤣

Now, I'm sure there are people on this forum who have bought cars from other players on the AH.
I don't mean to scare you., but you should check your car history once.
I saw it on twitter and there seems to be a lot of cars on the AH with fraudulent histories listed by cheaters.
You can tell at a glance because the data such as mileage and maximum speed are unbelievable numbers.

It's unlikely that PG will immediately punish you for owning one of these cars, but if you do find one of these in your possession, you might want to send a ticket through the support site with a screenshot of the first owner's GT.
It could be a good way to report a cheater and potentially protect your account from a false ban.

Excluding the obligatory mileage you had to do at the start of FH3, I've driven the Lamborghini Centenario 4 miles through FH3, FM7, FH4 and FH5 combined together. I guess I just don't like it.
Somehow its way better looking IRL. IDK why, but some cars looks sexy af irl and in games, photo or video looks meh.

I think the Centenario in game looks fine. Together with the Huayra from previous titles (standard, not BC) it’s one of the few modern hypercars that actually looks really good IMO.

I put FH5 down for this reason. I don’t like the online racing with other players, so the AI being broken makes me not want to bother.

The festival playlist is still broken,I won the midnight street racing championship on highly skilled with 2 wins and a 2nd and I got absolutely nada for it..:grumpy:
