Be aware, just made a very easy mistake. In Reasonably Priced Cars did Mangrove Scramble, then did the River race, and struggled to find the third race on the map. Since the race I just did wasn't showing and Mangrove Scramble was, and I have a condition that affects my short term memory I thought I hadn't done Mangrove Scramble and went back. Used to hitting the button to enter the competion I instead clicked the auto selected "YES" to a message about "losing progress" instead (pretty sure it was auto selected, but I was moving fast just trying to get through). I then quit not wanting to actually enter the race and over write my previous victory, only to find it wiped both wins in the championship!
Despite the strides taken in making the gameplay more accessible they appear to have ignored the UI. To begin with the menus were overwhelming, the different layouts depending on where you are, multiple tabs and sub menus on each, duplication of some but not other features...it's a mess. And as soon as I think I know what to expect and can start using muscle memory, it throws a wipeout box at me.
Sure, it's not a huge loss and I am enjoying the game but...yeah, beware of accidentally going back to a race you've already done especially if it was tricky. This game is like one of my ex's, it gets away with so much because it's fun!
