So one nice change they in this iteration is that doing the daily challenges and that weekly challenge of "owning a specific car and doing all sorts of things with it" give you FP now. The arcade events aren't as reliable right now.
I've been doing those but I just haven't been accumulating points fast enough. I did miss most of the week last season and only managed to do the actual races for the playlist, so I ended up missing the car last week for FP points, but if I had gotten it I likely wouldn't have had enough for this week at all. So it kind of worked out, but I knew I was going to have to figure out something about that.

I have to double-check the other ones, but I know in the Winter season just last week with the Porsche one, completing all 4 chapters gave you a whopping 160FP. That's a LOT of Horizon Arcades given the current circumstances where you could realistically net a measly 10 points.

I did complete it all, and fell just short :(. It's actually the one thing I make sure to do each season if I know I wont be playing much, which is what happened the past two weeks actually. Play time should be picking up, so with the tips given I think I might be able to get it going decent enough until the Horizon Arcade starts going more accordingly.

For some reason I'm getting clean racing skills while in freeroam now. Has this been a thing and I just didn't notice it till now?

They're very frequent too. Far more frequent than in races.

Not sure what to do with this. No matter where I go, or what I do, as long as I'm moving, I'll always bank an ultimate clean racing skill. I thought it would persist until I made a collision but nope. Still getting them. I've beaten the game now, I think.

(oh, also, all the "50m" Danger Sign Accolades are broken)
So, here's a thing.

They all say "50m" in the Accolade menu and "<50 feet>" in the on-screen Accolade notification, but don't trigger. I've managed to get two of them to ping - Supra/Event Horizon and Subaru/Launch Control - at 250m. Haven't managed to get the Camaro that far yet (doesn't ping at 239m, my best so far), and I don't think the Morris will work because it's the wrong car (says 1953 Minor in the description, but 1958 in the popup, which is the FE, but the 1953 Minor will get you a tick for driving the right car) but I'll see...

Edit: Can't get the Morris to 250m either :( Have to wait until the next patch.

I'm looking forward to the 1000fp gift. I had enough for the GT1 in the shop, but nothing else. Not looking forward to grinding for 550fp so I can get the rest of the stuff.

I had a good experience in the Eliminator today. I had a heck of a time finding a car drop initially. I seriously drove all the way around the western half of the map until I finally found an L2 rally Escort. And then immediately got challenged by an L6 Exocet that was lying in wait. And I beat him. I didn't win the Eliminator, but winning an L2 vs L6 challenge was nice.

If you're struggling to get the FP racking up, there's a house near the pyramids at La Casa Solariega for £1.5m which gives you double Forzathon Points all the time, and free for VIP members.

On a different subject altogether, I was going through my stats and found this interesting one with my longest jump 😁

So you jumped just short of 23 miles? I'm impressed.

I actually just came back to make note to @AOS- that the suggestion he made was only 80 to actually, but I’m guessing he has that house. Thanks for the heads up and right in the nick of time too, because I just started up to get the season going.

I don’t buy anything in the shop except cars you can’t get anywhere else(mainly cars you can’t buy in the auto show), so it’s usually just that 400fp car. I think I have like 700 Fp left. I haven’t done many horizon arcades due to the double whammy of it not working correctly to begin with, and my ****** internet.

Until Horizon Arcade is fixed, getting FPs through Daily & Weekly Challenges and car mastery will be a more stress-free way to get FPs.

Some cars are cheap and easy to get 5-10 FP.

Okay, what's the deal with KUDO's ??? Is there a point to it? Bonuses or gifts related to them? In the beginning when we had the first week, I got 3 Kudos, from what I am not so sure of. At first, I thought it was the car gifts. But after the first week, I did like 6 or 7 more and never got another Kudos. Now when I checked my daily bonuses, I got a kudos from one of my car designs or vinyls. But on the Tally Board, it still says 3 Kudos. Something is broken obviously. But, after the first week, when we were all doing the car gifts still, did anyone get their kudos to go up?

I'm not 100% sure what they're used for. I've been sitting at 8 for the last couple weeks. I've had over 400 downloads of my livery designs but only two people have given me a like (1 kudo per like). I gave away 10 or 12 cars today to see if I could get more kudos. I had to stop because the game told me I couldn't give any more away until tomorrow.

Instead of getting rid of any duplicate cars I receive from wheelspins or championships that are too common for the auction house, I've been gifting them away instead. I don't need them, but they might benefit someone else!

While I did sell the extra AE86 I got for this season for 7 million, The extra Lola T70 I got for winning all Road Races is currently on its way to a new player. 😉👍

Some duplicates I do keep like the Macan RR for example, one in B class with the stock engine and one in A Class with a Powerstroke Diesel swap (The only Porsche to have that option right now if i’m not mistaken.:P).

All I seem to be getting from wheelspins is money, which is better than emotes, clothes and horns, but still.
If at some point in the game you already have most of the wheelspin rewards, they will be replaced with credits. I bought all clothing items I could buy a couple of weeks ago and now own every car in the game as well, cars and clothing still appear in the wheelspins but far less than before.

Also been gifting cheap duplicate cars since basically from the beginning. Sitting at 136 kudos currently, but a decent chunk of that comes from shared designs, tunes and blueprints as well.

I seem to have an issue with the club though, I joined the GTP club a couple of weeks ago and the tag showed just fine in game (also the club filter showed up at the hall of fame). Yesterday I factory reset my XSX and reinstalled FH5 from scratch. In-game it seems like I’m not in a club anymore but on the Xbox GUI, I’m still part of GTP. Already tried to leave and rejoin but that didn’t fix it. Also I close the game each time so quick resume can’t be the issue. Perhaps I should try joining a different club and then leaving that one and coming back.

Maybe a lesser popular question but is anyone else already getting a bit bored with the game? I find myself logging in to do the festival weekly and daily stuff, but not really interested in anything else. Already completed all races, PR stunts, bonus boards, got all cars and with the current state of bugs, I’m not interested in putting in much effort for the many accolades I’m still missing. Although I doubt that’s the real reason. Fired up HotWheels Unleashed again the other day and it felt very fresh and fun. FH5 with all its problems (especially that darn Horizon Arcade and bugged dailies) just triggers too much negative feelings, the game feels like a burden at times. I could still spend a lot of time with tuning, taking photos, creating custom routes, etc but I just don’t feel like doing that right now.

Still looking forward to season 2 or a bugfix patch but still, somehow I feel I got bored with a main FH title much faster than in the past. FH3 for example sticked with me for many months, same for Blizzard Mountain and that was just an expansion. Not sure what’s going on. In hindsight, once the honeymoon fase of the new map and new car sounds is over, FH5 doesn’t feel all that different from FH4 IMO. And dare I say I even miss the entire map covered in snow from the winter seasons in FH4? Seasons in FH5 don’t feel as diverse as in FH4.

My wheelspins are a mixed bag. Either mostly money, or an emote/horn/clothing, and car. Can't complain too much anymore though, as the combo. rewarded me the 917 LH.

I wish they got rid of wheelspins all together. Or at least nerf them somehow.
I'm prestige 2 so lv500 and got as many wheelspins from leveling. Let's add to that another 100 super ones from grinding car mastery and another 100 single ones from car collection and other prizes. That alone was enough to complete the entire car collection. According to the accolade where you need to buy 400 cars from autoshow/car collection I only bought 140 cars. That include all the cars that I bought for super wheelspins when grinding for the LaFerrari, 911 FE and other exclusive cars. I also bought a few expensive ones from the AH but even counting that I still bought or unlocked less than 150 different cars out of 537(538) available in the game. Everything else came with wheelspins. It's a little bit overpowered, imo.
I still remember getting the last car in FH4. The M-B W154 that I bought after a year of playing the game. I have no idea what or when I bought the last car from the autoshow..

Yeah, but you are an outlier and they can't balance the game for outliers or they will lose their main base. Probably less than 5 percent of players are prestige 2 at this point(just a number I pulled out of my arse but you get the point}. Plus this game is the looter-shooter of racing games. People play it for those sweet wheelspins, that's one of the reasons you see so many
"grinding for wheelspins" strategies.

You are right. It's just that a wheelspin doesn't feel like it will give you a random reward anymore. Instead it feels like the game will likely put a car that you don't own as a reward in those spins. Which is not necessary a bad thing... I don't know anymore.
