Good update

Do you know if there will be a leaderboard wipe to remove all of the compromised times that currently exist on the Rivals boards?

I didn't see mention of it in the patch notes.

Real shame considering the messaging about accessibility.

At least they didn't mention a fix for screen reader always defaulting to "on" in the start screen, so visually impaired players are still being taken care of (whether they like it or not).

Did a few Arcade events, and they are in fact scaled down a lot if you're by yourself. Like, a LOT. You can finish round one in less than 30 seconds if you have the right car for the event type. Now I understand why they increased the start time from 5 minutes to 10, though I think the only way these won't be printing Forzathon points even at that rate is if you get in a large group and at least half of the people there just don't participate. And yes, you do get the full 60 FP for finishing even if you're the only one there.

I don't see that as a real problem though, as once people start figuring out how easy cheese the Arcades are with low populations they'll start showing up more often, which should increase the overall group size naturally over time. And even if it doesn't they're still a fantastic way to rack up tons of skill points, which might even help kill off those stupid point farming events that are clogging up the Event Lab.

If nothing else though, at least the Golden Driftlorean won't be collecting dust now that I've three-starred all the drift zones.

• game crashed (XSX) when loading into a cross country race (for the daily)
• game got stuck indefinitely in the “please wait” screen after auctioning a car. Had to kill the game and restart.

Let‘s hope it stays with those two.


Ooh and is anyone else MASSIVELY irritated by this “stay with the group“ top screen pop-up after an arcade game and the ONLY option is to hit X to stay with the group? If you don’t want to stay with the group, you gotta either quit and restart the game. You can’t do anything else either since basically anything you do in this game is triggered by the X button, which is kidnapped by that stupid popup…. Seriously, who designs this stuff and who QA tests it? It’s probably the reason that auction got stuck in the first place since that stay with group message was still on screen as well.

I mean is that really critical? They fixed a crapload of issues including the "1mph/FT etc for pr stunts and a bunch of broken accolades, Horizon Arcade fix, convoys, disappearing players etc etc. I'm pretty happy with this patch tbh.

That popup hasn't stuck for me, haven't tried since the patch though. They could remove that feature altogether and I doubt many people would miss it.

I'm downloading the patch currently, it sounds like they've fixed a LOT of stuff, which just underlines how much was indeed broken on release like some of us said.

So there's now a "recently added" option when sorting cars. I don't think that this was in the game prior to the patch, but in any case it's a small, but welcome, QoL addition. 👍

Now, if only we could get a filter option for cars equipped with drift tires, offroad tires, etc.

Edit: Also, the Accolades page now has a number on its square for any available prizes, and automatically tabs you over to the Accolade block and prize.

My bigger fear is it would turn out to be hellafun and I would end up using it as my daily driver and go-to racer.

I found some irritating bug in the photomode, the car gets blurred in the puddle reflections when you are in motion even if your car is pin sharp in focus. That doesn't make sense and wasn't there on previous Forza's. Here let me show what i mean

The Aventador SVJ won’t be a car pass car, so should be in your first list. I think this will either be a Forzathon or festival playlist reward or maybe a holiday gift of some sort (PG already hinted we would be collecting presents in series 2).

Reason for this? If you go to custom blueprint it’s the only new car shown there (together with all returning cars). Also, under Horizon Promo, all the new to franchise cars have a download icon to them…. except the SJV. 😏
