What do people think the DLC's will be based around? With the Load of race cars found in the files could it be a track based DLC with maybe a MAP expansion including multiple elements like the Horizon Circuit outside the main Horizon base? Or more of an Offroad focus. 10 year anniversary trip back to Colorado? Or a huge urban Mexico City map?
FH4 was released in september and the first DLC was released in December so I'm hoping to hear some news about it by the end of January to the Middle of February.

Like previous games, I expect the first expansion will be semi-realistic but separate from the main map (Storm Island, Blizzard Mountain, Fortune Island.) The second expansion will probably be another franchise crossover (Fast and Furious, Hot Wheels, Lego.) Whatever the first expansion is, it will likely be testing something that will end up in the next main Horizon. (Snow in FH3’s Blizzard Mountain led to seasons in FH4, Trailblazers in FH4’s Fortune Island led to Trailblazers in the main game in FH5.)

Some time ago, a leak from nvidia revealed only the code names of the FH5 expansions.
Expansion 1: Nightlights
Expansion 2: Upside down (and this DLC seems to be some sort of collaborative DLC)
Based on that, I would guess that expansion 1 will probably be a standalone map, and will be a larger urban map than FH3's Surfers Paradise.
Since FH3, there has been a growing demand for Horizon to be set in Japan.
However, one of the things they want in Japanese location is definitely a big city like Tokyo. I have heard somewhere before that this is not possible to produce with the Xbox One specs.
But it might be possible with a small independent map like expansion.
I don't know where FH6 will take place, but if the map includes a big city, this expansion could serve as a test for it.

I will guess and say the next expansion will feature snow and ice. The first reason are the snow tires that are pretty useless now and the second is the trend. Storm Island - Treasure Island. Hot Wheels - Lego. Blizzard Mountain - ? Ok, it means nothing but I wouldn't mind a BM type of map.

I fully agree with this. I know FH4 got a lot of flak for its winter season but honestly I liked it and I ready miss the fully snow covered map in FH5. Compared to FH4, the seasons are a bit dull in FH5.
I would be super happy with another Blizzard Mountain as well, FH3 nailed it with the expansions. Blizzard Mountain and Hot Wheels are for me the number 1 & 2 best expansions the franchise has ever seen.
FH4: Treasure Island was decent and even though I’m a LEGO fan, I didn’t like the Speed Champions expansion much.
FH2: Storm Island was nice! And the Porsche expansion I don’t even consider an expansion, that was just new cars and a bucket list.
FH1: The Rally Expansion and 1000 Club were both decent expansions as well, the latter also not really being an expansion but hey, it was fun and free.

Good Ideas from everyone. Personally I would like something a bit different like a Heavy Urban Setting than the usual Offroad/Rally first DLC and then the fun crossover DLC like the last 2 games. I'd be happy with anything though, I love the game and exited for any new content whatever it may be.

Last night I got in my Renault 8 Gordini and felt like racing it online. And then discovered there is no way I can race it online (at least in stock form which is D435 I think). Horizon Tour only has one Class D hopper, but it's for Buggies. Online road racing does not not allow you to choose your class, and I've never seen a D Class series that I can recall. The online racing really needs to be completely overhauled so people can race whatever car they want.

I personally really enjoyed the hotwheels expansion, but a more extreme offroad type of expansion in the works makes me think a Baja 1000 type is more logical. Making snow tires useless, but who knows.

Indeed, this strange expansion may be possible.
The fact that they can divert assets for the main map like Fortune Island and HW Island also lends credence to this theory.

I absolutely loved the Chryslus in FM6, so I would be happy with a Fallout expansion. (Also, if I recall correctly, weren't other Fallout cars rumored when the Chryslus was released?)
Never having played any Fallout games, would the phrase "upside down" have any relevance?

Every day or so I get on just to try out the new event lab custom events, I can spend a couple of hours just trying them out. There are so many good ones that are a lot of fun, I just wish there was an easier way to view them, like in list form or something.
I found one just a few minutes ago that is probably the best/most creative one I’ve ever done. In the description the creator said it took 14 hours to create, and I absolutely believe it. It’s five laps, and after the first lap, you figure out the track a little and it’s a blast. It’s almost like a hot wheels track in spots. It’s anything goes, but I would recommend something at least A, I did it in a S1 900 SVJ lambo, and it was about perfect.

Would like some advice and comfort please thank you. So I have been playing Forza horizon since the first one on xbox 360, love cars and enjoy playing Forza Motorsport and Horizon on a pad etc, racing, doing tunes etc.
I am just struggling with something, so my issue is I do not own xbox live gold and when I play Horizon 5 each week I’m missing out on so much because I can’t get the required points and even the daily tasks require xbox live gold too. I do as much as I can from racing taking photos or daily tasks and I only get around 40-42 points and can’t even get the new car. Also missed out on Lamborghini svj plus a lot of others. I have tweeted play ground games about it and also other issues too regarding things not working properly in game etc, no one ever replies and makes me more angry and p off, I’m still debating wether or not to buy FH6 I’ll probably won’t be. I also don’t have a reason to buy xbox live gold or PS plus due to just enjoying single player games. I just can’t get over it but I still like Horizon 5 and it’s a good looking game, some nice cars, lots to do, sound is improved etc. i also am hoping that later on the cars I have missed out on will show up in forzathon shop of for races etc like they did in Horizon 4. Thanks for reading and hopefully I can get over it.

As an XBL Silver member and a hater of multiplayer modes, I agree with your complaints.
What's especially annoying is that they did something similar once with FH4, and in that case they quickly took it down due to negative feedback from the community.
But this time, not only did they do it again, they made it worse.
Play the Eliminator for the Daily Challenge? Are you kidding me?
Aside from that, there are a few workarounds.
One is to use Microsoft Reward.
Do boring chores like searching using Bing every day and you will get XBL Gold for free.
However, this is an even more boring chore than Playlist, so I wouldn't recommend it.
Another thing you probably know, and probably not available due to PC specs or other reasons, is to use a PC.
A PC does not require XBL Gold and allows you to play multiplayer for free.
If you have a PC that meets the minimum system requirements, this is the best way to go.
I fortunately used the latter method to get SVJ, etc., but that didn't change I hate of force multiplayer mode and I sent them the same feedback you did.
Hopefully they'll eventually fix the playlist to something similar to FH4. We can only hope for that.

Honestly I haven't really been bothering to do the playlist at all this time around. Yesterday, I counted up all the points I would need to get the new Celica, and after a while I just went "neeeeeaaaaaaahhhh" or something to that effect.
More power to anyone who can hit these points and get rewarded for it, but I'm more than satisfied with FH5's car roster even without the playlist.
